  • very cute age appropriate hairstyles :)

  • @SUlAkHA1 not true

  • Beautiful!

  • TOO BAD YALL AIN IN SOUTH CAROLINA!!!

  • WHAT DO YALL USE ON THEIR HAIR BEFORE STRAIGHTENING?

  • It all depend on the stylist preference. Some use the old school Marcel curling Irons, others use Ceramic Flat Irons !

  • I wonder what curling irons they use.

  • I think this was a unique idea to have a children salon...

  • do they have to be african american? can they be white?

  • @CookieMonster117100 "We do have multi- ethnic clients that frequent our salon. I do need to get a more pictures that show the range of clients we service.

  • Really enjoyed the pictures. My daughter is 10 and has natural hair. Everyone in my family is saying I should give her a relaxer. I don't want to and after seeing your pictures I don't think I will. I normally just shampoo, condition, blow dry her hair, then flat iron it. She wears braids most of the time. Do you think I should press her hair instead of using the flat iron?

  • @Nmerrill2 No relaxer ! What many people fail to realize is that a relaxer is a major commitment that requires more care than natural hair. Keep her hair shampooed with a moisturing shampoo and conditioner, and keep it pressed or braided. That is the best thing you can do for all this age right now.

  • We need a place like yours in Saint Louis! My daughter's hair is naturally curly and she is very tenderheaded! I need some help or some recommendations on products to use!

  • WHERE IS THIS PLACE AT 0:56 SOOO CUTEEE

  • WHERE IS THIS PLACE AT

  • I loved harold's place when i was growing up. they used to do my braids when i was like 5... i wonder if Tracy still works there

  • heyy i lke those hairstyles alot how do u get there hair lke dat wit no chemicals lke perms cuz im only 13 and my hair dnt look all pretty it stays frizzy so much and i wrap it up wat should i do

  • This is briliant!!! Oh how I wish you were in my area! I love that you do all these styles without chemicals! Such a wonderful thing....please open a salon in Central FL!!!!

  • These hairstyles are amazing but tell me these kids hair straighten??

  • Braiding is the BEST way to do a African or Black childs (and adults) hair period b/c curling and pressing only damages your hair while when braiding your hair grows and is easily manageable[=

  • Very pretty and you guys did a great job.

  • You guys must love the Shirley Temple curl, thats all my mother did in my hair coming up.

  • OMG I need yall to expand across the country b/c these skills r jus required of all blak girls hair EVERYWHERE!!!! great job!!!

  • This reminds me of when I was a little girl. All we did was press and curl in the 80's and early 90's. It's more safer and healthy for their hair than perms.

  • sheesh , they did a great job !

  • their hair is so pretty!!!XD!i cannot wait until I grow out my hair (from braids) so I cann rock my curls!!!Ive been doing my hair journey for 2months now!By washing conditioning oiling and greasings braiding and buning im maintaining my length AND gaining-yay me!

  • I love your kids hairstyles, I am trying to let my little girl hair grow out naturally any suggestion on what to do with the hair?

  • check out my channel plz and thank you!!!!! if your feeling it subscribe!!!

  • How do u get the girls hair to look so silky smooth? My daughter is mixed with black and puerto rican, and i cant do nothing with it. I would really like to kno, thanx!!

  • @cynmrodriguez THEY USE PROFFESIONAL PRESSING COMBS OR FLAT COMBS. try to wash/cond., comb, and braid in 9 large single braids, let hair dry ALL THE WAY, then take braids out, use brush and flat iron to straighten hair in inch sections, hold brush and follow with iron. dont do too close to scalp. oil scalp with organic coconut or shea butter when done straightening.wrap at night is satin scarf. dont get wet. lasts 2-4 weeks until next wash. if really curly wash with 9 braids single braids in.

  • im a kids hairstylist in Kansas City,i like ur styles there hair looks very healthy check out my video response!

  • i hope they keep that beautiful hair

  • It's all beautiful, but that does major damage if the hair is not protected right.

  • i agree

  • is this salon in napervile IL?

  • who singing this song... where is this salon?

  • The name of the song is Cinderella and the group sing is Play. The Cheetah Girls also did this song ! And we are located in Detroit, MI.

  • cinderella by cheetah girls

  • @CITYGIRL3210 I love that cheetah girls song :-) but dont tell nobody lol i am 25 and way too old to be listening to them

  • Sooo beautiful! Good job! What products do you use on there hair? Do you press it or blow dry it? Thx!

  • MISSD99, please think of expanding this salon into Maryland. PLEASE!

  • We are working on that !

  • Dudley's, Design Essentials, and Authur Johnson are the products we use in the salon.

  • @AKIYIAKELLY The salon currently uses Infuance and Design Essentials Products. And depending on the hair and texture, some clients are blow dried and pressed, while others are blow dried and flat ironed.

  • Very pretty hair. Once in a while it's nice to do this. My niece is natural, but i might try pressing her hair once when she gets older.

  • i used that 2 o boy i have gonebac 2 natural

  • I'm in hair school can you PLEASE tell me what you use to make the hair that straight and silky

  • I took my daughter to Harold's Place today and she actually got her hair done for the first time by a professional. I wanted her hair done for her 5th birthday party. She is extremely tenderheaded. I took her to a hair salon a few weeks ago and she did not get past the blow drying of her hair, we had to leave because she was crying too much. Harold's place did a good job with her hair, she felt comfortable and she only cried one time. I am very pleased.

  • Thank you so much ! We try our very best to be professional as posslbile. We look forward to seeing you and your family again soon.

  • you are so talented but i live in orlando :(

  • I should have known,Detroit... the hair capital of the world! They are always clownin(in a good way)with the hair there. Nice video! No chemicals needed.

  • The hair you did for those little girls is so fabulous. I wish you were n my hm town so you could do my little girls hair. I put a kiddy texturizer in my daug hair and she 4 and only let it stay 2mins and now her hair is dry breaking=no more chemicals 4 her=any good helpful thoughts I have been using aphogee it seems to have stop breakage but still not growing and still very dry ...thanks keep up great work...

  • yes i put the just 4 me texture softener in my daughter's hair and it's just breaking off. i regret ever putting it in her hair.

  • Comment removed

  • wow those hair styles were pretty..and the little girls were so pretty

  • My baby is about to be in a baby pageant i dont know how to do hair to well so please give me some advice onto how to do it, are should i just get it done, shes only 2.

  • Thak you so much ! All the hair you see in the video are those children's hair !

  • Amazing ! Greetings from NYC! Seriously make sure you get ownership for that service mark. (ie, so you won't damage it...) I love it. Good luck with ur business. 4 real.

  • It's in the making ! Thank you so much !

  • Wow! A more ignorant response for an already ignorant comment. When people make offensive comments like that one you should try to respond with some intellect instead of embarassing us and reinforcing negative stereotypes. Thank You :)

  • nice song !!! who sings it??

  • have u eva watched the cheeath girls if so they sing it i think

  • Cinderella by cheetah girls.

  • it doesn't really sound like the cheetah girls though. It's the same song by someone else i think

  • No I'm pretty sure. I have the CD. Definately them. I'm 100% sure.

  • Your right 1 This is the original song Cinderella by a group called Play !

  • this version was by play they made it first just so u kno

  • i don't have any kids but these children's hair is beautiful, i happy to see kids looking like kids, wonderful job.

  • These hair styles are beautiful, if you don't mind, can you do a " how to" video so I can see how you get their hair that beautiful. thanks

  • I know ya'll don't really reveal your secrets but, HOW IN THE HECK did you guys get their hair that straight, sleek, shiny, and beautiful. I cannot get my daughters hair like that. And i've tried it all!!!!

  • It all begins with a good shampoo, conditioner and blow dry ! Then, the magic is in the press !

  • what are good shampoo and conditioner to use on children's hair?????

  • not to be mean or anything but if this comes offensive to any body sorry. I just wanted to know if they only style african americans hair.

  • No, it's no an offensive comment. We do service Whites, Hispanic and multicultural persons too! We love hair, no matter the race !

  • Nice Video..It gave me a lot of ideas for my biracial daughter's hair! She has really nice hair but its big and spiraly! Thanks a lot

  • Good Video! !

  • Nice hair styles.

  • should i perm my daughter hairs she have very very thick hair and her hair is not long but not short what should i do with her hair

  • No! Do not relax that child's hair until she is responsible enough to help aid in the care for her hair !

  • my daughter is mixed and her hair use to be bone striaght, then it transformed into curls, now its an afro! I blow dry it and flat iron it and it last no more than 2 hours. before I know it its a puffy mess again. How do you feel about Hair texturizers in childrens hair?

  • Children do not recieve their true texture until about the age of 5. Your daughter being born with one text and it change into something different it perfectly normal. At our salon, we do not believe in use chemicals in children's hair, mainly because the scalp is not mature enough. That is why you so man African American children with damaged hair. Texurizers are nothing more than relaxers that are left on the hair half the required time and reducing half the curl.

  • WOW..we need that here...I love the work...very nice

  • How do u make it so curly like dat and where can u get it from

  • The curls in the video are called Spiral Curls or Shirley Temple Curls. Because I am not a stylist I am not the best to explain how to do it. My best suggestion to seek the advice of your local professional !

  • Damn that girl at 2:11 got ALOT of hair!

  • my hair used to be like that when I was little!

  • I think that the video here is trying to illustrate that a mild relaxer is not needed if the style desired is a "straight" look. but I do agree as well that I would like to see natural styles that do not involve heat.

  • No relaxer is needed on children to achieve straight hair !

  • that's what i'm saying about your vid, but like i also wrote, i would like to see other styles as well

  • I'm working on a new video ! Currently I don't have camera !

  • so wats the special product that your using i have a little girl and she is natural and she always want big curls

  • can yall please have a salon atlanta

  • I do like the hairstlyes I saw in the video, however I have to agree with NoireBeaute this wasn't the natural I was thinking when I clicked on this video!

  • i'm in full agreement against severe heat-however when i was a small girl pressing in spite of the heat with my hair texture was very effective...and u will never forget u r a genuine natural as the others who dont get the "presses"...if you don't believe me just go a few weeks without the pressing or straightners...or let that pretty press get totally wet or sweaty...yes babies u r naturals! my definition of a natural- a anti-perm and organic/safe product sistah, this is only my opinion (lol)!

  • Everyone is entitled to their opinion, just like everyone has a choice on they want their and their children's hair to be groomed. I love the fact as African Americans have a wonderful array of ways caring for our hair. At our salon we do offer several options. A natural hair care video is coming soon.

  • You are right everyone is entitled to their opinion/choices for their kids, however after my research on the bad ingredients in all those so called "great hair products"...I was too through! Ofcourse, I wouldn't expect any professional to voluntarily warn people to do a google search on product ingredients that are harmful,After-all, let's face it isn't it About that DOLLAR BILL. People Educate yourselves then DECIDE "my 2cents".

  • Where are the natural hair lil girls? Too many pressed heads!! Nappy Natural is Natural Beauty.

  • do u supply all these clips and head bands and stuff u put in the girls hair or do they have to bring them in themeselves...

  • We supply everything except head bands! Ribbons, barretts and beads are availale in our salon !

  • omg....YOur work is amazing.

  • When I was younger I kept trying to get my mom to take me to this salon! We both thought that they used chemicals, so that was out!

  • We do not believe in relaxing a child's hair until they have reached a physical age of maturity. The scalp is not mature for the harsh chemical in any relaxer. But when in doubt, just call us and ask !

  • Nice.

  • wow... they all have beautiful hair. I wish I still had natural hair... sadly my momma permed my hair as a child, because she didn't know how to care for my thickness.

  • You go girl. Work that hair. Love it. I get lots of request at DryerBuzz(.com) blog about what to do with kids hair. Posting this right now and to SeeSIBTV(.org)
