sharkman0485 may have a point, though I thought it might be an octave higher...never sure exactly what the pitch is, but it seems what you need to achieve is the octave above the glass's pitch...a guess?
I think you are going too high with your voice. I think you need to get your voice at the same frequency as the class. When you ching it try to match that tone.
