...you mean the reason why I couldnt figure out the name of this particular game for FIFTEEN YEARS was because it remade into some stupid horror game?!! Yes, I as trying to find out the name of the Megadrive game I played which I recently found out: Magical Hat Flying Turbo Adventure
Hey Vyse :) !! Have you played Magical Hat Flying Turbo Adventure ? I have the original version and I've found it very easy......I hadn't look the U.S. version (Decap Attack) but, personally, I prefer the Japanese version (even if it's not my favourite plateform Game on Sega Genesis :)).
Vic Tokai must've been very close with SEGA back then... And if that's not proof, the heroines from Battle Mania (Trouble Shooter) made cameos in the Segagaga, Sega's swansong RPG for the Dreamcast. Decap Attack is the Westernized version (or bastardized to some) of Magical Hat Flying Turbo Adventure, which is a spiritual sequel to Psycho Fox and Kid Kool. I guess Treasure's Dynamite Headdy isn't the only game where the hero literally uses his head...

Decap Attack has since appeared in recent Sega compilations for the PlayStation family, Xbox 360 and the Wii Virtual Console.
