  • this is such a great video i loved it.its like hes saying oh no im not your daddy so leave me alone! and the babies are all like well to bad we still love you and mamas like just let him be he will come around now behave lol great video thank you.and yes its amazing to watch these animals and how they behave similar to humans with there babies the father is more serious usually and trying to be more mature and the mother seems to be more gentle but still teaching the cubs a lesson in manners.

  • Even if the mom and dad seem mean, they're doing it as their whole way of educating their pups. I absolutely love Mal's and the big thing I know is that they're very much pack animals. They set themselves up in packs and the dad is just asserting himself as the leader of that pack, and trying to show that they can have fun, but they have to know where their place is in that pack.

  • @Ashengrad You are sooooo right! I miss the pups :) We still have mom and dad. Did keep 2 pups that are now 3yr.

  • they all ganged up on dady lol

  • Your right! Mom was on it.... She wears the pants :) Totally! She is still that way. Nanuq is getting a bit of arthritis. I give him Fish Oil and Glucosamine to help...

  • Good grief... momma's dishin' out lessons left and right and daddy's just egging it all on:)!!

  • Wow! Mom sure likes to put the kids in thier places. lol Just like my family.

  • @sithyness That's hilarious! My family too :)

  • WOW! The father looked like he was trying to make the pups recognize his alpha position over the pack though still allowing the pups to fool around him. So far in the video, only that one pup dared to brave his intimidations at the end of the video and he seemed proud of her too :)

  • @animalobssessor9 You hit the nail on the head with Nanuq showing his dominance over the pack. I love how you said at the end he seemed proud... You are right, he did look proud :)

  • lol the mom is funny

  • what is the hardest thing to deal with about them?

  • I always take the pups away from mom at 4 weeks old and then she's completely done and back in the dog yard. I let them play with the other adults, but never mom, because it wrecks havoc on her body to nurse as long as they'd want to, and moms have a much harder time returning to work and even have more injuries.

  • One Keeps Yelping Soung Like My Baby Lab Husky I Bring him too the park and dogs try to play with him and he run and keeps Yelping when there not even touching him Is that cuz He only 4 months Old ??

  • Aww they're all so cute XD

  • I love how you say "you wanted To play" The Papa just wants to play with his puppies!

  • So cute. You can tell that he starts to warm up to them, and mom is trying to keep them all in line to show them off to daddy!

  • Exactly! He was warming up... Raising puppies was one of the best experiences I have had. Alot of work, but I'm very thankful!

  • Dogs are such wonderful animals aren't they? ^_^ =)

  • who is the mom and who is the dad

  • i think the dad is the black one

  • You got it... nervous daddy not sure how to act.

  • im not sure but i reckon the daddy wants to mate with the mum and he finds the little puppies interrupting it. just a crazy guess ;P

  • lol.. the dad was like im the boss.. buh the puppies were just too rebellious.. their mother disciplines them..

  • They are so cute! :o) the daddy is tring to tell those pups whose boss and the pups don't want to accept that! :)

  • haha they are rebellious already talking back to the dad! lol soo cute

  • Wow, I would seriously put Nanuq on his back for acting that way. Like you said, it IS a dominant thing and he shouldn't get away with it.

  • They are so beautiful, u must be so proud, i get my first malamute pup in 6 days can't w8 got any tips lol?

  • Congrats!!! Stock up on raw hide :o) They like to chew the first couple years. I kept 2 of the girls, they are 10 months now.... they ate part of the living room chair last week. ~ OOps ~

  • They are so beautiful! Nanuq is very very handsome. How do you manage taking care of two grown dogs and puppies? I only have one husky and he's more than a handful for me. But I still love him so much. :)

  • Thank you! Nanuq is a pretty boy... he's such a big baby! Huskies are awesome!! Never a dull moment ~ bit challenging at times ~ but tons of unconditional love :o)

  • Those are some gorgeous dogs.

  • I think so too :o) Thank you!!
