Guile lacks an escape move. Whenever the opponent goes wake up jump in attack, Guile's only options are block and guess his next move or focus attack dash cancel away and try to avoid being chased. Both methods are very passive. EX flash kick is the farthest Guile could go but the recovery time after landing is far too long so people could punish him. Therefore, Guile player has to keep a distance from his opponent and try not to be knocked down ONCE.

I don't find this Guile being that "lame" .... it's hard for charge character to deal with forward moving Fei Long.
