USA was finicky about accepting football as a major sport till now (because we have baseball, basketball and grid iron football, etc...) When winning the CONCACAF doesn't mean going to the Confederations Cup... the USA usually uses subs and reserves to try out and see who is going to the World Cup as subs. mexico can't beat us anymore at home or on neutral ground where there is a decent altitude. If we meet in the WC again... the outcome will be another thrashing like in WC 2002.
