  • This lovely song sounds like something that Sonic Youth would've and could've done. Dreamy. Melodic. Expirimental. Unpredictable. I think Beach House would consider that compliment a bright feather in their caps. I'll be watching out for this band in the future and wonder if they will stick to Shoegaze/Dream Pop.

  • Norwegians in the house, bitches!

  • The start of this song always makes me think of the start of "Let the beat control you" by Tilly and the wall

  • Maybe because she's been there and felt like she was compelled to write about her experience or maybe she has family from there who know's but she is so creative..I luv them.

  • Oh, I was given a sample of this song, and I distorted it beyond recognition, changed the genre, and now my friends are astonished that THIS made that. Check out my profile if you want to hear it. I called that song "Dance, Baltimore."

  • I love this got in my myspace profile as well,

  • this is the best 2010 song to me ... its beautiful perfect

  • Don't you know.........ha ha ha hahaha ah c(:

  • Why "Norway"?

  • @CruitNOR Because that's the name of the song... O.o

  • @oxXDorieNXxo.

LOLOLOL, that was the dumbest question I've ever seen.

  • @adrisonfiree .. How was it a 'dumb' question? He / she obviously wondered why the song's called 'Norway' when the lyrics don't explain (the chorus line 'Norway' explains nothing). Most songs have meanings, and they're not always obvious... so he / she had a right to ask. So I think the dumbest thing here is your inability to understand the question.

  • @oxXDorieNXxo Im norwegian and live in Norway, made me curious :P

  • @CruitNOR look at the chorus

  • @CruitNOR Well, why not? Lol.

  • Comment removed

  • @CruitNOR because they were on their way to a concert in a norway when they wrote the song (: Due a betting.

  • @tobber110 Im norwegian and live in Norway, made me curious :P

  • @CruitNOR why "why"?

  • @CruitNOR Who doesn't love them some Scandinavian countries?

  • @CruitNOR They were on a train in Norway when they wrote this song. Yeah, they wrote the entire song on a single train ride.

  • @CruitNOR kind of like "Australia" by The Shins.

  • @CruitNOR They wrote it in a train between Bergen and Oslo in Norway :)

  • @CruitNOR they wrote the song when the drove though Norway

  • @CruitNOR Maybe they just really love the place Norway.

  • @CruitNOR: too funny:D>
