  • i get this gay error too its fuckin annoying

  • If anyone is available for help, I've been getting D/Ced because of 91010. I use a D-Link DIR-601 set up with our own SSID and WPA password, and yet I get D/Ced before, after, or during a race.

  • wat vehicle iz tht?

  • @MrPokemonhero22 The Sprinter, I believe.

  • I get error code 91010 all the time on all my games and it happens at the worst times in mario kart.

  • its happening to me

  • wft? look up at the screen at 4:44

  • it could even be the wifi chip

  • so annoying, i was 98??vr

i got disconected = loss of over 730vr points

  • Dude, the same thing has been happening to me all day. This morning my vr was 7757 then then I got disconnected in the middle of a race and lost like 200 points! Then I just gained about 100 back, then the same thing happened again and I lost 300 points! So now I'm down to about 7368 in my vr. It's so annoying!

  • Can somebody please help me every time I wait for the screen where you see the list of the other players, before that screen I constantly recieved a message saying "you were disconnected from the other players", It only happen on Mario Kart, on PBR and SMBB and other online gmaes works fine without interruptions please somebody HELP ME!!!!!!!

  • Mario Kart Wii's connection is oddly weak. I don't know why. It's very easy to get disconnected for any reason.

Try moving the Wii closer to the router, or the router closer to the Wii. It solved my problem.

  • this was also the first track that I managed to get first place on.

  • this was a day after my birthday!

  • I use a wii LAN adapter thing. it worked fine until i got a new ISP. now i almost get disconnected all the time with no error code

  • I have this problem too. But unlike you it stops a race halfway and puts me in first. As a result I actually GAIN VR. But it's driving me crazy because I just want to race and 91010 shows me up.

  • Well, if it helps any, I solved this problem by moving the Wii closer to the router.

  • I'll give that a go. Thanks.

  • well, my wifi-USB is broken, so il buy a LAN cable.

  • i know i asked already but whats the name of the kart and how do u unlock it

  • 5:56 Luigi Says Oh Crap lol

  • Then he should say " oh , merda " in the italian version :P!

  • Ooh, I saw Rosalina!

  • i love mario kart am from belfast ad me 3910-0642-1253 go to my u tube channel page and send your fc number

  • even with a lan adapter. By the way you should get one,It makes wonders

  • It's fine. I already solved the problem since.

  • How did you solve it? i get 91010 each time after i did 1 race and the 1st part of the next one, there are no other routers in the neighbourhood, even now i use LAN on the wii, it still gives me those errors (91010)

  • I moved the Wii closer to the router. The signals were weak when the Wii was far from it, and it often lost the connection entirely.

  • Hmm ok, i might try that some time.

Now i go online with LAN (linked with our home electricity net) but i still have the same error on like the same time, you maybe know soemthing about that?

  • That's pretty strange, to be honest. Do you know the name of the device the Wii is getting wireless signals from?

  • ou lag on mario kart wii and not on brawl?...

Brawl is the mega lagger and over 50% are lagging plaing brawl online, it sucks

  • I stand corrected: Both the Wild Wing AND the B Dasher Mk 2 are the only karts that look like real cars in my opinion.

  • i also think i have a way to help

my house has a belkin router right next to my wii (about 10 ft maybe) which gives it GREAT connection, and belkin is okay with nintendo

maybe you should get one of those and place it close to your wii, that might help

  • I'm fine. I've had it fixed since then.

  • oh, OK! :D

  • lol, you lapped a guy

  • this happens to me and i dont know wat the problem is, everytime i play online i hope not to see this error code (91010) and then thats when i get mad som1 help >=(

  • It's most likely the router. Turns out I have a router that doesn't cooperate with the Wii too well.

  • Do you think you could help me? I have a Linksys router and I'm trying to connect my wii. The wii is finding my router, but whenever it tests the connection, it says: Unable to Connect. Error code 51032. I'm pretty smart with computers, could you tell me what to do?

  • I looked this up on the official Nintendo tech support site, and it says that it most likely comes from interference from another wireless source, such as another router or a microwave oven.

  • pls dudes send the friend codes lets play kart together

  • HEYYYY I WANT TO PLAY MARIO KART online with u ppl can u send a msg to me with friends codes? im RUKI in the game maybe u see me on hehe give me friends code plss

  • wooh, bt home hub ftw!!! no disconnects over here (not menaing to brag :P)

  • Overhazard, I had the same probelm out of state, I got connection then it will stop in like two minutes. It is just a weak Wi-Fi connection thing.

  • Don't worry. I solved it.

  • when I disconect,I lose big rating since then i have a 9700 rating,now I have 8900,keeps on disconnecting

  • VR isn't very important. A game like Mario Kart Wii isn't very well-suited for rankings anyway, and I don't see why the programmers added this in.

What annoys me more than VR loss on disconnection is that I can never get to play a complete match...

  • Then that probably means someone is leeching off of your connection and interrupting the flow of data between the router and the Wii. You connect easier at night because the leech has stopped using the computer.

  • The Wii's internet capabilities weren't very well thought out, to be honest. That's why you have to go through a lot of trouble. Nintendo didn't even think online play was anything big until this year.

  • A firewall? The Wii can't get through firewalls. You'll have to take them down as you're playing online with the Wii.

  • kool i just put a WEP key with a password of 10 digits, and it worked =D, i just need to figure out wat channel to put for my router

  • I'd recommend either 1 or 11, as they're the least-used channels.

  • I occasionally get the 91010 error but I believe it's my cell phone since I usually have my phone about 10 feet from the router. So I took the phone near the wii (about 35 feet or so) and haven't had a problem since then. I also use a linksys router and it has great connection.

  • Linksys router is really good I have it I have never lagged.

  • I'm glad to know I'm not the only one with this problem.

  • I haven't gotten Mario kart wii yet because it is so hard to find. I just want to know how's the lag on that game before I buy it? I'm asking because Brawl's is so horrible that I rarely play online with it, and I don't think its my router that's causing the lag because I think mine is pretty good although I haven't figured out how to change the channel setting on it, its a 2wire router.

  • You'll be able to control everything just fine. There's lag, but it's a different kind that doesn't mess with your controls.

  • can you pm the password for GT704-WG cuz mine dosent let me wifi on my wii on my modem/router

  • Look on the bottom of the machine and find a bunch of letters and numbers to the right of where it says "WEP Key" (10 in all). When the Wii finds it, it'll ask you what the WEP Key is, and that's what you put in.

  • il est tro bien ce jeu

  • Unlucky about the problem, I use a WiFi USB connector and I haven't got the problem.

  • i want to race u

  • You know, the answer could also be that your neighbors weak Linksys connection could be the equivalent of a strong connection with your Actiontec, but I wouldn't spend money to test this theory.

  • You didn't get the 91010 the last time. You were disconnected from players which means your Linkskys connection was blocked out as in...there were no connection bars. It could still be your router because whenever my connection is blocked, it says that I was just disconnected from players. I don't get an error code.

  • Yeah, it turns out it was the router, which is why I set up an alternate arrangement. It's very clumsy and time-consuming, but I won't have to spend any money.

  • Hmm.. i seem to be getting that 91010 error code more now, perhaps its the router i use, i use sky broadband which i think is UK only... but when i switched to sky they gave me a sky brodband router manufactered by Sagem, that router may be the problem or maybe with nintendos server.. im not sure but luckily a D/C in a Worldwide match has only happened to me once, kinda weird

  • Gee, I don't know whatever might be your problem with this game. I just got disconnected few times by that error (91010). Tho sometimes I get disconnected with either the "you were disconnected from other players" error or the "the race rankings were decided, the race is over" error.

  • Woah, that's a lot of disconnections. It has to be the game if it doesn't disconnect on SSBB or PBR. The last two races lasted though, they were good.

  • how did those items not hit u or the other pep in the last race

  • I don't have to do Wii Updates, but it's usually beneficial. The only negative Wii Update Ive seen is the one that blocks the Freeloader, which doesn't concern me anyway.

As for the peple warping around, that's because the router loses the data about where they are and what they're doing. When no data is given about them, the game assumes they're driving straight, sometimes right off the course. When the game starts getting data again, it'll "correct" itself, and they'll appear to warp.

  • so do the people u see getting warped to random places do they actually get warped or is the game just showing that

  • they dissapear then appear somewhere else. it's really strange.

  • They aren't actually getting warped. It's called Internet lag. When data is delayed by network disturbance. It's common in online gaming.

  • u know u dont have to do Wii updates

  • overhazard i am sorry about the tomas jefferson stuff im am sorry

  • i have my own lynksys thing so that means people can get through my internet!

  • Looked like you lapped a guy in the first race.

  • You and me both, Overhazard. I eventually just stop playing if the disconnections grow too many in number. I think we'd both have VRs in the 9000's if it weren't for them.

  • So it happens to you too. I think it happens to Raichu as well.

  • i heard that luma giggle btw, O.o

  • yoshi sounds cute in MKW!

  • I use a Linksys router with SpeedBoost. It worked uninterrupted until our service provider made their internet "faster". Ever since then I've been having disconnections everywhere. I can't even keep a good wireless signal on my laptop.

*sigh* Anyway, superb racing until the disconnections happened.

  • Hey,can someone tell me how to hold items behind with the Wii-Wheel on Manual? I dont know how...also,awesome video, you're awesome at this game! 5/5

  • right or left on the d-pad

  • Hold Down The Down Button On The D-Pad

  • one last comment, why dont you try sky broadband? works for me and my connections flawless

  • Sky Broadband? Sounds like a British thing, as the Sky system is only for the UK.

  • You just hold left or right on the D-pad.

  • But i only have my wii updated to 3.3u, is there a 3.4 also?? because i didnt know that there was a new update.

  • Sadly there's no way to get rid of Wii Updates. Even if you were to reformat your Wii the updates stay on your console. And I can't imagine you'd want to reformat anyway because it'd result in you losing your Brawl and Mario Kart data as there's absolutely no way to transfer it.

  • That explains why people seem to teleport. A guy fell off the track but got back on it as if nothing happened.

  • It's happened to me.

  • I've pretty much surmised that while Mario Kart Wii's Wi-Fi is good, it's still pretty far from perfect. It's pretty reminiscent of Mario Kart DS since that happened a lot in that game too.

  • I never ever got disconnected from that game. People would disconnect themselves whenever they were losing.

  • with me its just SSBB. i've gotten discon'd from mkwii once or twice but my brawl is just horrible

  • its the same with me... mkwii is fine but when i brawl on wifi i can never find opponents..

  • That sucks man. Can you tell me one more time what you use to record these videos?

  • It's called a capture card.

  • Thanks.

  • I use a Liknsys router and works fine. i think ur wii might not be close enough to the router. cuz mine is almost right next to it. so that may be the problem.

  • Often, I see the signal as strong. It was unusual this time around for the signal to be at 2 instead.
