but, i think its the future of snowboarding, or at least its progressive. i own one and love it.
@liv38ig its contoversial because even though it is really good for all terrain it is not durable and parts can break and peel off if you get one which you should take good care of it

i built my own snowboard in carpentry class...its real queality..metal edges...2 layers of fiberglass and resin and 1 layer of maple for the core...then P TEX on the bottom sheet...then a plastic white cover on top...its illllll son...it has like perfect flex and just at the width where u can ride pow but still do much jibs...it only cost me 50$ in that class for this project...that was my whole semester in that class...peace evryone
if you want a good board for both terrain and powder, check out smokin snowboards. i've been riding one for 3 years now and have no problem with anything on the mountain

I wouldnt recommend it..
it's pretty hard to ride a banana in powder..
I have one..
but it's possible..by the looks of it the box scratchers are wet noodles haha

wet noodle is right...i wouldnt take a boxscratcher in too much pow. btx is good in powder but only with the stiffer lib tech boards.
