@BaphometRizing666 You have to keep in mind that Jessie operates at the level of a 5 year old. He was grilled for about 12 hours total, with no parent nor lawyer present. He also passed a polygraph when he denied involvement, but the WMPD lied to him and told him that he failed it. Eventually, Jessie just gave up and told them "what they wanted to hear".

I've said it many times over the years, but give me 12 hours with a 5 year old, and I'll convince them they killed JFK.

@imaStonesFan You are hearing bad rumors. CNN is reporting that they may be freed on their plea of INNOCENT, but the deal is that the state will reserve the right to bring them back to trial. Hell that is what we wanted anyway. There is MORE than enough evidence to prove their innocence.

They had to plead guilty because West Memphis Arkansa was scared to death and gave them a deal to either plead guity and go home today or go through a LONG trial. You need to brush up on the news. @imaStonesFan Absolutely not. No court of law would be able to reasonably say that they are guilty. I never thought they would plead guilty, but it is under the Alford Plea, which states:‎"The plea means that you maintain your innocence but you believe there is a substantial likelihood that a jury will find you guilty so you are pleading guilty per State v. Alford," . That just means they acknowledge that the state has enough evidence to bring them back to trial.

Damien Echols, Jason Baldwin and Jessie Misskelley, Jr. have been taken from their cells in the Arkansas Department of Correction and are being transported to Jonesboro, for tomorrow’s hearing. An official of the ADC reported that they left with all their belongings, which is unusual and suggests that they are not expected back. This is the first time all three have left prison together.

The Arkansas Supreme Court, in what legal experts said was a rare move, unanimously ordered a new evidentiary hearing in the case last November. It is scheduled for December in Craighead County, the site of the original trials.

The December hearing will allow DNA and other evidence whether it was introduced at the original trials or not.
