Even though the shah came to power through an undemocratic transition, once he did obtain autonomy he looked after the best interest of the Iranian people. He was displaced by the help of western powers who did not like the fact he was not inline with their western interests.

There is no way that we can have any of the Pahlavi rulers in Iran. However, we do have a government which is populous and has a strong leadership. Instead of criticizing the present mullah regime, i feel it’s more important to improve the image of Iran in the intrnationl community.
