Think about this; if hell was created to punish Satan and his demons, as Revelation tells us, then why are they depicted as revelling in punishing humans in these drawings. @rickyregina Hello RickyRegina. You are right about hell being created to punish the fallen angels and humans were not created to go to hell, which is why it is a painful place of torment. But demons do indeed torture souls in hell because they hate all of God's creations. If demons are allowed to oppress, obsess and sometimes possess humans here on Earth, why wouldn't they be allowed to work their malice on humans in their own abode? And what is it you mean by verse 31 in Luke 16?

And, what God is telling us in Luke 16:31 (KJV) is that if people won't believe specially appointed prophets of scripture then why would they obey a mere human? The word "Amen" at the end of Rev. 22 means Amen and not, "stay tuned, more at eleven".

You will not find a clear cut biblical passage to support demons torturing souls in heaven but the Bible is not meant to be used solely as the word of God. God has a lot more to say than the Bible. In regards to Luke I agree with what you say, but it is also a foreshadowing of the rejection of the call to repentance even after Jesus' resurrection. Which we find even to this day.
@archangelco Actually there's not even a hint of demon torment in hell from scripture. The Bible is the ONLY source of truth. God's revellation to humanity is complete through it and it alone. See; Ecc3:14, Rev22:18,19. If the Bible is not the only source of truth then Rom3:4 and Acts17:11 should be removed. The Bible was written by God himself using some 40 different authors as his pen. See 2Tim 3:16 and underline the word "all".

@SuperYesyesyo The bible mentions that Mary herself says to the angel "how can this be because I have not slept with a man?" even if the bible calls her a young woman when it specifically states her to be a virgin in the original text she herself mentions it in her own dialogue. Luke is commonly known as a doctor and he talks a lot about Mary in his book in the bible.

@swampdonkeeyy It is true that reading the original bible is best, but we also know that the bible has been translated with a very small degree of error. There are a few words here and there which are similar to what the original said, but are slightly different words, but there arn't many of them and those places were words are slightly different the passage ends up meaning pretty close to the same thing.

You will not find a clear cut biblical passage to support demons torturing souls in heaven but the Bible is not meant to be used solely as the word of God. God has a lot more to say than the Bible. In regards to Luke I agree with what you say, but it is also a foreshadowing of the rejection of the call to repentance even after Jesus' resurrection. Which we find even to this day.

See; Ecc3:14, Rev22:18,19. If the Bible is not the only source of truth then Rom3:4 and Acts17:11 should be removed. The Bible was written by God himself using some 40 different authors as his pen. See 2Tim 3:16 and underline the word "all".

@wowawsome1 I want you to spend at least a half hour a night asking JESUS for the HOLY Spirit.. ONCE would do the trick but you seem to be really obtuse and apathetic, so GET low, humble yourself, FEAR GOD already asking to be made to be like Christ in receiving the Holy Spirit. The other option is to LOVE GOD a lot "missing your daddy" and letting Him know until HE unites you to Christ and Himself through the Spirit. Anything else, if you do, is insanity brother. Really..

@VeinCutter oh and it's not the actual religion promoting this it's just ONE person trying to promote it using fear so don't go around blaming other places before you know the back story first. Make sure your own house is in check before going off snooping around other's and sticking your nose in other people's business (it's a figure of speech don't take it literally)

Please show me the book where the fairytale of Satan who once was an angel who decided to leave Paradise is written..it is not in the Bible.
Satan only was a word for angels who worked for god. It is a job description...
And btw. Mary is never mentioned as a virgin in the original Text..it is a translation mistake from the original language into greek and Latin. The original Text says..Mary was a young woman..but it was always translated as a virgin cuz they wanted to make her more special.

@SuperYesyesyo The bible mentions that Mary herself says to the angel "how can this be because I have not slept with a man?" even if the bible calls her a young woman when it specifically states her to be a virgin in the original text she herself mentions it in her own dialogue. Luke is commonly known as a doctor and he talks a lot about Mary in his book in the bible.

@swampdonkeeyy It is true that reading the original bible is best, but we also know that the bible has been translated with a very small degree of error. There are a few words here and there which are similar to what the original said, but are slightly different words, but there arn't many of them and those places were words are slightly different the passage ends up meaning pretty close to the same thing.

@AlinaXekri So those who choose to separate themselves from God in Christ on earth receive the punishment of eternal separation from God (all things good). So tell me ,are you insane to reject God's free gift ending up in hell? Get low, bow low to show yourself humble asking Christ to give you the Holy Spirit, mean it, don't get up until you really mean it, the HE will give it, for me it took a few weeks, I had a hard heart. @sunrayvista I agree with Sunrayvista. I believe in Jesus but I dont think he would take someone from earth to show what hell is like this. (this way seems to do more harm then other possible ways) The biggest topic in the bible jesus talks about is. Do not have fear. So this couldnt be possible. Since this is all about fear. I think hell is real. could be like this or worse. but god wouldnt use it as a tool to scare us. Thats what the devil does. So that way people would think God is a bully.

@757BenJamin Jesus talks about HELL more than any other topic in the Gospels. There are over 162 references in the Christian Scriptures (New Testament) that warn of Hell. Over 70 of these references are attributed to Jesus. Stop telling Jesus what you think HE can do or not, its meaningless what you say, Jesus would not let a young girl who attends midnight prayer for 2 years be led by Satan to this deception, obviously you love a certain sin that was mentioned in there.

Just ask for a few nights for the Father to allow you to read the New Testament leading you to Christ. Then try to read again asking ONLY just suggested and remember BE HOLY. STOP ALL SIN. Then you will be richly blessed because you chose to hate sin seeking Christ/God/HOLY SPIRIT.
