ok whats the song thy do " what makes you think your so big ? you cant compare to me , i think that your vary small and came as fantasy. your O-zine layers vary thin it wont be there some day. and wen its gone your lakes and streams will get up and fly away.
I recorded the 1982 Friday Rock Show session on mono cassette. I still have it somewhere, but would love to get the 'Never Reach the Stars' album. Is it still available?
Unfortunately we have no more copies of NRTS. It appears on ebay from time to time and the unauthorised version from Black Rose is still available on CD, I think.
Or you could buy Powerplay from us - see our website - or from iTunes - which has remixes of all of Never Reach the Stars on it.
We hope to be releasing free downloads of the Friday Night Rockshow recordings soon!
sorry, not blaming anyone in particular, probably one of those things, but this search page is a mess and just needs sorting out. Is there any way of seperating out three different interest-groups, all of which have a claim to the title "Underground Zero"? I'm not at all interested in dance-music or skateboarding, but I so want to know more about Hawkwind-influenced space rockers Underground Zerø - they're painfully hard to track down, and the more i hear of their stuff the more I like it.
I'm afraid there's nothing we can do about other people using the same name as us. It's a shame they don't put a name into Google before deciding to use it but there you go...
For more information about us go to our website at undergroundzero.co.uk
Our latest CD 'Powerplay' can be bought from our website or dwonloaded from iTunes etc. and we'll be putting some free downloads of some early recordings on our website soon. Or come and see us live at the 'Onboard the Craft' festival in September!
One of the first videos I ever bought was an Underground Zero VHS (bloody hell: VHS - remember them?) with a photocopied, blue cover. Can't remember what it was called but I do remember thinking it was a brilliant set. I was convinced these guys were the next big thing. How can it be that a band like this has to struggle while an endless supply of dross gets limitless airplay and makes millions?
oh well, whenever you have someone with some serious talent there's ALWAYS some other guy who will readily put them down.Keep on rockin!! You KNOW you're good.
lost all respect for these lot after their sound man recked everybodys set except theirs at the Space Rock last week. And hogging the stage with their exclusive work of art drums? F**king Prima donnas.
Not sure why we are getting the blame for the other bands' sound. We had nothing to do with the PA. If you are in one of them, nighflier, I'm sorry you didn't have a good night. We've all been there. Yes, we have a large drum kit, no apologies for that. The Assassins of Silence managed to get eight people and two keyboard rigs on stage around it! Anyway, thanks to the organisers and the majority of the people who came for making it a great night and for raising so much money for Oxjam.
You must have been to a different place to the rest of us. All we saw were lots all the bands helping each other out to pull off a successful night despite a few unavoidable problems.
fuck me, A UZO video I still have a few of their records, i think a 12" of,seven light years, never reach the stars album, through the looking glass album, good grief this takes me well back
Another great video - wonderful music! Don't ever stop playing!

Hi ozricstormbringer
Ha! That's pretty close... the song is called Canes Venatici.
The words are
What makes you think you're so big?
You can't compare to me.
I think that you'd look very small from Canes Venatici.
Your ozone layer's very thin it won't be there some day.
And when it's gone your lakes and seas will get up and fly away...
Thanks for visiting
