My dad had a way of making sure I wasn't a picky eater, instead of feeding me that DISGUSTING baby food, he would make his own with vegatables, honey,milk, and mash potatoes as a base to the food. And now I love vegetables and I'm very little picky.

Know, what disturbs me with the (American) Supernanny? No matter what family she goes to, she always does the same things. No individuality, nothing...it's all like training dogs. Sorry, but that sort of pedagogics is so antiquated O_O

well it's like governments laws. She sets down basics which most of these aMERICAN families don't have. They don't even have a bit of order in their households. So her basic idea is to ensure that atleast these children have basics. it should be up to the parents to then create and individuality in the rules they set around the house. It shouldn't be the job of another person to raise you children, the fact that supernanny is there is to merely ensure that they have a foundation to work upon.

I'm such a picky eater. I dont like alot of foods, and often skip breakfast, and lunch. Never dinner, my mom would kill me, and I'm usually hungry then.

Of course the kids don't want to eat, if they are constantly snacking on junk food! I don't agree some kids don't like certain food, like I don't like spicy food, so I think it would be terrible for a parent to force the kid to eat spicy food!

When i was little i was always forced to eat all these things even though i later found out im deathly allergic to nuts and shellfish :P

"Encourage your child to eat" Oh dear...if a child does not want to eat lunch, then off to his/her room and no lunch for today. Next chance to eat something is dinner time. If a child is truly hungry, he/she WILL EAT! That's what my mom did and latest the next day I understood the lesson. Children (especially those in Europe or America) won't starve from not having lunch.

haha when my mom and her sister were kids my aunt was a really picky eater and one time my grandma put sauce on her food by mistake (not a lot but my aunt hated sauce) and my grandpa refused to give her any other food until she ate it. At a couple bites each meal it took her a week to finish it. My aunt is now 45 and weighs...a considerable amount ...and she TO THIS DAY blames her obesity on her father forcing her to eat spaghetti w/ sauce. (BTW he died in '93.) Sometimes you just can't win. LOL

I share the same idea. I never got special treatment at dinner until I was 16 at which point my mom let me eat whatever dinner I wanted as long as I made it and cleaned up afterwords. Otherwise I had to either not eat or eat what she made.

One problem with that is that is that the YouTube police will take them down if it is easy to see that they are full episodes. The good thing about this way is that they look like little clips, like all the little Family Guy clips that are out there, and won't get taken down. I have seen accounts taken down for copyrighted full episodes.
