I saw this being built and promised myself to go back when it was open. My wife & I DID go back when it opened but due to a severe infection on my arm, I was put in a sling (This is all DURING our trip)....they wouldn't let me on the ride with the sling and I was in too much pain to take it off. DAMN.

omg! my sister and i went on that ride and on the way up the tower her seat belt broke/ came undone.

so we were freaking out cuz it suddenly came to the drop ! she rose out of her chair clutching to the belt and when the ride ended she was two seats over. never been so scared for her in my life :(

The version at DCA is so much better than the one at WDW. The story line is jumbled in Florida whereas the one at DCA is clear and clean all the way through. And the clumsy transfer scene in Florida just never made any sense to me. The mirror effect is so much cooler of an effect.

But I like the Disney World version better because it moves forward and backwards and it has the ghosts from the actual movie in the ride including the same hotel that was in the movie.

In the Tower of Terror, the elevator drops so fast, that gravity cannot keep up with it, therefore, you are basically being pulled down by your seatbelt. This ride is amazing, and very thrilling!
