So, for example, you can't compare Mark Webber against Ayrton Senna, simply because they drove at different times and different tracks. Possibly Mark Webber is ten times better than Senna. But Statistics don't show it, because Sebastian Vettel is even better. And, mathematically speaking, statistics always measure only a tiny tiny subset of what happens in the world.

LOL illegal driving aids don't make me laugh, the F1 cars are thoroughly checked before and after each race and practice and qualifying session. Schuey was diqualified twice in this year. Also about Senna he was a brilliant driver and how can u say he was a greater driver than schuey? schuey hit his peak in 2000 onwards and broke every formula1 record, even if senna didn't die, i think schuey would have still beat him in number of championships

THe Renault engine RS6 was a lemon. It was slower than the 1993 RS5 engine beucase fly by throttle was banned. There was a bug article on it in Lequipe during 1994. That is why Renault suddenly lost it's huge HP advantage it had in 1993.

You guys obviously do not know how to identify a traction control system by the engine sound when accelerating out of a corner ... back in the days (93), a TC was technically realized by making the ECU shut off fuel injection whenever a dedicated spin sensor registered wheelspin. From the onboard recording, I cannot hear any of that.

The Benetton chassis of '94 was much more stable than the Williams, and the last sector consists of a lot of tight bends. It's no wonder he was able to gain a lot of time. He was probably able to drive it smoother. Notice you are all saying he used illegal driver aids, but Senna still got pole. I'd say the cars were very even, and the last couple tenths were down to the drivers alone.
