Crisco vegetable oil is most likely made from vegetables that have been grown using pesticides and other harmful chemicals. Thus ruining / poisoning an organic garden if applied to it.

The oil has made the leaves singe in the sun's heat. Not sure whether I have done something incorrectly but I do not believe that this method with oil is the right one for my garden.

@PatriciaSdeLopez Yes maybe so. The leaves coated in the oil is being magnified in the sun through the oil. Suburn times 3.

I think you have me mixed up here. I just am lurking and subscribed to this thread. I would think you would get a better response by asking the question on their website. I have not tried this mixture yet, but will if I see some sign of trouble.
