Uncanny. Did the gulf swim thing myself in 1990ish, Indian Rocks Beach... Swam out about a mile and then dove down as far as I could, looked around, and came to the realization that if I was to exist this world, I was pretty sure I didn't want to be eaten by a shark. I got sea sick on the swim back in :) Result...still saying Let The Planet Burn. Shrug. The words of Anonymous of late I'm finding interesting as if there's one star in the night sky; but I have no faith. Thanks for your thoughts
Oh, so you've had a great yr in Florida too? U know, i'm thankful for key lime pie....but i wouldn't want to live in one. Hope u have a delightful thanksgiving! I know u r excited!!!
Thank you for posting this clip Ms. kalodaimon. I enjoy listening to what you have to say. May I suggest that in your spare time, think about writing a book ..... Cheers!
Somehow, I doubt your plan of swimming in the gulf will work, besides instead of trying to disappear, how about watching the world burn! Also, if anyone hits on you for being covered in paint, splash a heap on them, tell' em they look great! And if this makes you fell any better, (somehow) you finished High School and got degrees and the like. Me, I was told to either get smart, or get a job and so I did get smarter, but ony after getting a job!
@Demonizer68 I do agree that it probably won't work, but it should require enough effort to have a nice effect at least. I can't foresee being prepared for that, but perhaps I'll consider preparing.
Having a degree seems to me to be a fairly useless accomplishment.
I could sum it by saying he's going to return your country (I assume your American) to the framework the founders intended, but I'll break down the most important reasons.
1.Non-interventionist foreign policy (no more policeman of the world)
2.Balanced budget (1 trillion cut in first year alone)
3.Constitutionally sound money (gold,silver)
4.Repeal of row vs wade and unconstitutional executive orders
@kalodaimon Paleobiology sounds cool! I have to take a paleontology class for my major. I've gone on a few field trips in Southern California, just to places like Vasquez Rocks. Nothing too exotic. I'd like to eventually get my master's degree in New Zealand, maybe at Otago.
@Jamesx1010 I have no recollection of blocking you, but maybe you did something to be blocked. I certainly don't remember the majority of people I block.
@Bllackguard666 I'll take it you were fairly far out then. As far as I know, they don't come close enough to the shore here for anyone to worry about them. If you don't hear from me, you can safely assume that I was wrong, although it seems egocentric for me to assume that a shark would choose me.
That makes your username fairly amusingly appropriate, too.
@kalodaimon Yeah, about 120 miles (land miles, lol) out, and went through that bastard Dean with his 175 mile/hr winds, 70 foot waves...it sucked but fun at the same time. I'm strange like that. We almost did sink, and the engines failed.
Got side tracked, sorry. With sharks, eh...never know with them. It's why I stopped surfing back in 2004. I saw three sharks in the surf, in the same two months. This was in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Then, I moved. Sharks, I don't trust them...
@OdeToNecrophilia It makes me a guy who watches a (note the singular) video, recognizes the pathological narcissism of the person in the video, then assembles a checklist to illuminate said narcissism.
@theignoredgender I've never known anyone to say that, but I'm also not going for pure math. I think pure math would be far easier for me than trying to navigate people in the real world. Academic masochism is my forte anyways.

@Blueblood1941 How interesting. Indian Rocks is just south of my choice. How did it turn out for you, apart from the sea sickness?
kalodaimon 1 week ago
@kalodaimon - Well, I realized that if I were to go out that way, I prefer freshwater. I'd sink faster. :)
