  • Uncanny. Did the gulf swim thing myself in 1990ish, Indian Rocks Beach... Swam out about a mile and then dove down as far as I could, looked around, and came to the realization that if I was to exist this world, I was pretty sure I didn't want to be eaten by a shark. I got sea sick on the swim back in :) Result...still saying Let The Planet Burn. Shrug. The words of Anonymous of late I'm finding interesting as if there's one star in the night sky; but I have no faith. Thanks for your thoughts

  • @Blueblood1941 How interesting. Indian Rocks is just south of my choice. How did it turn out for you, apart from the sea sickness?

  • @kalodaimon - Well, I realized that if I were to go out that way, I prefer freshwater. I'd sink faster. :)

  • its time to burn the world my dear the humans are long over due to have the herd thinned

  • Jobs in Antarctica, tell me about them.

  • Always feels so good to see you....

  • Don't you have "tradition" to watch movie "Fracture" at Thanksgivingday?

Or you have better films to watch this time?

  • @ilmarinenTheAtheon I haven't heard of it.

My family has an unfortunate football watching tradition.

  • @kalodaimon And all together screaming "goal".

  • It was nice to hear from you Ms. kalodaimon, I am sure you enjoyed the thanksgiving holiday. Have a great day ;-)

  • well to be one year old doesn't sound bad at all xD still, I hope you had a great day

  • We have a lot in common. Happy genocide day!

  • @bamboo4tameshigiri Genocide and obesity heh. I hope that yours was lovely, too.

  • beautiful eyes!!

  • Thanks -what??? wahah

  • It's soooo quiet. eeep! You need a mic to speak into.

  • @joannajean Or I need to remember to double the volume before uploading.

  • Oh, so you've had a great yr in Florida too? U know, i'm thankful for key lime pie....but i wouldn't want to live in one. Hope u have a delightful thanksgiving! I know u r excited!!!

  • @MyMaxKali I hope that you also had a delightful Thanksgiving. I spent most of mine at the beach, so it wasn't so bad heh.

  • Thank you for posting this clip Ms. kalodaimon. I enjoy listening to what you have to say. May I suggest that in your spare time, think about writing a book ..... Cheers!

  • @MrChristian326 Thank you, Mr. Christian. What an angst laden book that would be.....

  • @kalodaimon ... I would be the first in line for your autograph.

  • @MrChristian326 Heh, you would be the only one in line.

  • @kalodaimon ... (Laughter! Laughter!) That would be a great scene for a movie!

  • Somehow, I doubt your plan of swimming in the gulf will work, besides instead of trying to disappear, how about watching the world burn! Also, if anyone hits on you for being covered in paint, splash a heap on them, tell' em they look great! And if this makes you fell any better, (somehow) you finished High School and got degrees and the like. Me, I was told to either get smart, or get a job and so I did get smarter, but ony after getting a job!

  • @Demonizer68 I do agree that it probably won't work, but it should require enough effort to have a nice effect at least. I can't foresee being prepared for that, but perhaps I'll consider preparing.

Having a degree seems to me to be a fairly useless accomplishment.

  • RON PAUL 2012

Don't worry broad, the world's going to get so much better when Ron's President.

    God bless.

  • @Coldshot89 Oh really, and how so?

  • @kalodaimon

I could sum it by saying he's going to return your country (I assume your American) to the framework the founders intended, but I'll break down the most important reasons.

1.Non-interventionist foreign policy (no more policeman of the world)

2.Balanced budget (1 trillion cut in first year alone)

    3.Constitutionally sound money (gold,silver)

4.Repeal of row vs wade and unconstitutional executive orders

5.Assertion of state rights over federal

    6.No more war on drugs

    7.Secure border.

  • Respond to this video...

8.Cutting off of all foreign aid

9.Welfare and entitlement culture reform (elimination)

10.Peace trade and friendship with all nations (peace on earth)

    11.Ending the Federal Reserve

12.No-tolerance on bailout for anybody, also no government contracts to chrony capitalists

13.Re-institution of free markets and true capitalism

14.Best of all --- my country (Canada) and all others around the world will learn the merit of a constitutionally limited government.

  • Respond to this video...

So cheer up butter cup, everything's going to be alright (unless Obama pops WW3 off before the election)

  • xD I love your attitude, high five sistah!!

  • @EllionVcall In keeping with the attitude, let's just glare angrily at the world...heh

  • @kalodaimon Huzzah! Or stare angrily at the wall all day:D (close enough)

  • What are you going to study? I'm currently studying geology (as an undergrad), and I'm also interested in Antarctica.

  • @eudun Paleobiology is my aim, but I'm certainly going to need to do some geology first. Have you done any similar studies in more normal locations?

  • @kalodaimon Paleobiology sounds cool! I have to take a paleontology class for my major. I've gone on a few field trips in Southern California, just to places like Vasquez Rocks. Nothing too exotic. I'd like to eventually get my master's degree in New Zealand, maybe at Otago.

  • Why cant I see ur channel?

  • @Jamesx1010 You became blind (?)

  • @ilmarinenTheAtheon

The channel is blocked or something, it doesnt come up

  • @Jamesx1010 Or something. Rather user "blocked".

  • @Jamesx1010 I have no recollection of blocking you, but maybe you did something to be blocked. I certainly don't remember the majority of people I block.

  • lol...great videooo

  • Don't worry. The Gulf has enough Manowars and sharks to take care of a random swimmer.

  • @Bllackguard666 Only at night

  • @kalodaimon Well, got news for you: you're wrong. We saw them during the day, everyday, both of them.

Source: 2yrs as a GM3, US Navy. MCM 13. Corpus Christi NAB.

  • @Bllackguard666 I'll take it you were fairly far out then. As far as I know, they don't come close enough to the shore here for anyone to worry about them. If you don't hear from me, you can safely assume that I was wrong, although it seems egocentric for me to assume that a shark would choose me.

That makes your username fairly amusingly appropriate, too.

  • @kalodaimon Yeah, about 120 miles (land miles, lol) out, and went through that bastard Dean with his 175 mile/hr winds, 70 foot waves...it sucked but fun at the same time. I'm strange like that. We almost did sink, and the engines failed.

Got side tracked, sorry. With sharks, eh...never know with them. It's why I stopped surfing back in 2004. I saw three sharks in the surf, in the same two months. This was in Kitty Hawk, North Carolina. Then, I moved. Sharks, I don't trust them...

  • Post last years Thanksgiving video. That should improve your mood.

  • @jeffnogo I did watch it, but uploading it is taking forever. Only half of the videos, and those were mostly just the short ones.

  • Entitled attitude: check.

Privileged background replete with opportunities: check.

Inflated sense of the importance of academic achievement: check.

    Narcissistic: check.

This girl isn't unhappy because the world sucks. She's unhappy because she's a cliche.

  • @DartmouthAlum96 if you watch her videos, what exactly does that make you, mr. checklist?

  • @OdeToNecrophilia It makes me a guy who watches a (note the singular) video, recognizes the pathological narcissism of the person in the video, then assembles a checklist to illuminate said narcissism.

  • @DartmouthAlum96 you sound awfully helpful

  • @DartmouthAlum96 That statement is rather difficult to take seriously from someone with your username.

  • the world is so much bigger than you seem to think, kalo.

  • @KrustynailsVideo I hope so

  • there is a tv series we had over here called nathan barley, a couple of the things you said reminded me of that, you should try it.

  • A job in Antarctica?? lol i want one too

  • Let me live in the mountains with you - I have building plans for a castle already ;)

  • @djdjerojr You build the castle in the mountains, and I will live with you. That sounds optimal haha.

  • @kalodaimon Deal =)

  • @djdjerojr Best get started on building that castle soon then. I hope you have good taste in mountains.

  • @kalodaimon Not to mention castles.. Lol

  • @kalodaimon I'm quite confident I have a good taste in women though because I reckon you look quite amazing =)

  • Getting a masters is really ridiculously tough, especially in pure math.

  • @theignoredgender I've never known anyone to say that, but I'm also not going for pure math. I think pure math would be far easier for me than trying to navigate people in the real world. Academic masochism is my forte anyways.

  • montanas a good choice, though you'll have to deal with weird ass weather for a long time, (hail in july) but its a nice place, i went to school there for a year.

  • @slakecoldblade I don't mind. I'm from Wisconsin, so I'm used to hail in the summer and random daily changes between seventy and subzero. What did you go for?

  • @kalodaimon Paleontology
