@BarneyEire0900 Yea well when you've cut a few thousand hectares, you would kick the swath to ... in case you do not know it gives you an idea how heavy the crop is ...so what you see there is a very experienced assessment of how heavy the crop is ...
That's nice. I think I would rather run a setup like this instead of buying a self-propelled cutter (e.g. John Deere 4995, Krone Big M). You could unhook from the cutters in probably 20-30 mins and use the tractor for anything else you want...
id agree but people only use self propelled when they are contractors (unless your one) or if they have a big dairy farm or few 1000 head of cattle say u got a heard of 300 cattle ud have to have the money and be crazy enough to get one lol
yeah ive seen yours it doesnt cut much i must say i wouldnt buy one no effence but as yuo can see the extra i see here on this is that the front cuts it and it lies down then the back ones at each side have conveyors at the back which then put it into one line like you would with a normal hitch on liner for the forager or baler. that why i think this is good also it has the same width cut as most self propelled ones so its good and at the ned u still have a tractor to use instead of...READ NEXT

the only problem with that is you will need at least an extra day to two days for that windrow to dry up.

Good for silage, but it wouldn't work for hay.
MorrisCattle 2 years ago 2
y not? thats a small windrow even a Vermeer could bale that. lol
yamahawr450frider 2 years ago
this thing wouldn't work for me. the hay wouldn't dry like that.
kyler309 2 years ago
its not for hay goon its for the forager to eat up
djtoonraider666 2 years ago
even for silage it needs some time to wilt.
even behind this its probably gonna be raked 2 rows into 1, so may as well spread it behind the mower to help it wilt
crizp123 2 years ago
If your baling and then wrapping there is no wait
nchayfarmer 2 years ago
you would have to rake it a couple of times a day would be the only set back but you could make it work
19dcs93 2 years ago
you can take the windrower off. besides you could ted that swath out if need be
