To the people,who are asking why does werewolf Tommy "have a new look", this is the original werewolf design the creater of the show had in mind,before he discovered Brandon Quinn is allergic to the glue.The first season had no plot points and was aired out of the order it was shot in,so we get episodes in the middle,who still have the original werewolf make-up on.

The werewolf makeup in this episode is the original design that the creators had chosen, but Brandon Quinn was allergic to the prosthetic's glue so they ultimately went with the reserved makeup we've come to know and love for the remainder of the series.

@MissLaceyBones I'm going to nerd out;But garlic did work,they put it in the bathtub with the holy water;The only reason the mothers boyfriend was able to eat it was because he was invited in..And with their leader invited inside in the lost boys;it was pretty much fair game..Plus you know he did drink Davids blood..That's gotta wear thin on the whole personally invite each one in thing :P

I remember seeing Tommy's original make-up and being like...Huh? Idk. I like both versions. This version is more grotesque and scarier. The newer version with just fangs and long sideburns is cool too, but it just looks cheap. Stupid allergic reactions.

I'm guessing it's the original make up and if this isn't in the other seasons that would mean it is. from wiki I read the make up glue caused allergic reactions out of the actor playing Tommy so they toned it down.

Yeah, it's the one they toned down. I prefer the toned down version much more, though. They pretty much just gave him fangs and put hair on his face in the toned down version, no elongated snout.
