I used 3d Max for it, but i just found out then that you can use v-sync in the program only in DirectX mode, but i am unsure what it does in OpenGL and Software modes.

Hope that answers you, probably not, i don't understand it myself

Pretty good, I like the effect of the blastwave when the stargate activates and also travelling through it, only thing I would suggest is using more textures that are of a higher resolution
