I echo your view, Fazil's version was the best (dance, lyrics, acting, story and screenplay) but the music wasn't that good, P.Vasu's Kannada-Tamil-Telugu giving more importance to Visnuvardhana & Rajnikanth typical alpha Hero based movie but Gurukiran's music and songs were good but the dance...ok not bad hence the tamil-telugu and hindi version dance utterly rubbish, in hindi the song and dance and its costune not compatible. Merit goes to Fazil but credits taken by P.Vasu and Chandramukhi

She is singing in old Telegu in this version but if you go online you can here the old kannada version on audiokannada or another song provider. Just type in Apthamitra. Baa Raa is come here in old Kannada. The two languages are very closely related. In my opinion, the Kannada version is better. This is a great movie I saw it in Bangalore and I cant wait for its release in the US.
