whenever I set up my hookah,the smoke comes very thick for 15-20 mins and after that it stays very thin.

also when I clean my pipe,I see small black particles

I have made it on my own for like about 9-10 times and this is the case everytime.

I use normal home foil and I dont use double layers.

I pack my shisha quite losely and leave about 1 cm of space between the foil and the flavour.

I use silver coal(silver coated)

I burn it and make sure that it's red hot on all sides.

the holes you pierced through the foil are too big after just 5-10 minutes that shisha will taste like coal and will be unsmokable to anyone coz it will burn instead of cook nicely!!!!!!!

on all the videos i see on hookas everyone uses aluminum foil, which is terrible for you. you must make sure to get cooking grade foil or foil specifically made for hookas.

So on my new Hookah, I cant seem to remove the Stem from the Vase, Like It seems like they are glued together so idk how to Put water in? Is this a weird model or something that I need to fill it up a different way???

I dont have a stove, hot plate, or blowtorch. Can i use a lighter to light up a coal? One idea is to make a little bon fire in my glass ashtray and try to light up a coal that way.

using other liquids in the bowl is dumb .. the biggest reason for the water is because it filters the smoke.. what a better filter then water?

milk wont filter it as good not alcohol

water is the best filter and is in my opinion why shisha is healthier than cigarettes

@madkillaaa the use of different liquids is not for the filter feature, but for a different flavour aspect to the shisha. ie Using 50/50 Milk and Water makes the smoke more white when blowing

Using fruit juices would make the smoke taste fruitier etc

@illest1around no it is not 'water vapor' per se. It works like a bong..you have a stem that goes down into water so when you inhale it draws the smoke down the stem and into the water where the water cools it down. from there the smoke goes thru the hose and into your mouth. hope that helps

@Cmarley19 Shisha is the tobacco that you smoke with the shisha pipe you see in the vid. With bud normally people mix it in with the tobacco like 1-2 grams per session, but never a batch entirely made of bud.

@Cmarley19 yes you can smoke bud, it's better to smoke bud in there than in a bong. shisha is just a word that means flavored tobacco used for smoking in the hookah.

@regionalshooter1 The stem needs to be submerged by about half an inch to 1 inch, otherwise it defeats the purpose of the hookah. The stem is under water so that when you inhale through the hose it pulls the smoke thru the stem and into the water, cooling the smoke down.  The water won't go into the pipe because it's pulling smoke down thru the pipe and up into the hose (the water won't go into the hose either because the hose attachment is too high). The colder the water the better

@Krushurpants it's mostly preferential..i prefer 3 because when i use 3 it seems like it produces thicker smoke. i place them evenly around the edges and then as my session progresses evenly rotate them around the bowl. when they start burning small i place them together in the center. to me it provides for a thicker, more consistent smoke.

@Chekirows haha i've never used milk but people who do say it makes the smoke thicker and 'creamier,' if you give it a try let me know how it is. i'd recommend putting ice cubes in there, or better yet set the hookah in a bucket of ice a la a champagne bottle

@WGS509 u can put everything in the hookah ,, Coffe , Cola , Energy Drink, Milk .. Every Other Drinks + Ice .. that makes the smoke bigger and smoking is going easyer .. Tip : U Put Wather and 2-3 cm drink not only milk or coffe, cola ,, put wather and 2-3 cm what u want to put milk etc

@WGS509 if you put milk in it it is amazing for about 20 minutes then the bubbles go through the hose and you get nasty smoke milk... but it does definetaly make it creamy and smooth and the smoke gets really dense

love everything you did except for the large holes you poked on top. I prefer more holes but smaller, that way the ash doesnt fall in with the shisha and you're not smoking ash.

@bbryantnguyen good tip, small holes will definitely prevent ash and make sure that the shisha itself sits just a touch below the rim of the bowl, otherwise the foil touches it and burns the shisha.

@meowtrox yeah you can, or just straight up alcohol. i've heard of people using beer but i think that's weird. using a flavored vodka like smirnoff grape to go with say grape flavored shisha is awesome. i'd use all vodka in that case (or whatever your choice of spirit, rum works great with cola flavored shishas)

@420Druezga hell yeah you can. actually, using a hookah is the second best way next to a vaporizer to smoke your herb. just set up your hookah like you normally would but add your bud in with the shisha by scattering the buds around and mixing it in with the shisha..you'll get a long, pleasant smoke out of it.
