Some of the girls in this show are egotisitcal pop wannabes who really need a wakeup call. The West End isnt a place to spread this manufactured shite. Its a place for the truly exceptional to shine......so not Jessie.

Sure she can sing pop ok but if she cant sustain her voice for 8 shows a week she'll breach contact and could end up being fired.

I havnt got the fainest idea why they made the girls sing pop songs when its an audition for the WEST END!

I know many peeps who sing pop amazingly but cant make musical theatre work for them. There are lots of girls on there that sung their pop song fine, but that doesnt mean they can hold a Went End musical theatre show together.

I think Amy was the best she played Nancey spot on. Nancey's voice isnt overly powerful Amy sang perfect for the Nancey part so sad to see her go big mistake. GOOD LUCK AMY IN WHATEVER YOU DO :)

I think the sing off is the cruellest thing in the world. The poor woman's just been told that she's out of a competition she's put her life on hold for and she has to belt out a song like that. It's understandable when some of the notes aren't great.

I agree that it's cruel, but I think it gives them a chance to retain their dignity by ending on a high note. It's also a chance for them to show the world what they're missing out on, by putting them out of the competition. I think it's also amazing how they've just lost what they wanted most in the world, and yet they can turn that into a stunning performance. I take my hat off to them.

The right two were in the sing off and ALW was right in who he picked. For all those Francesca fans out there, she got off very lightly with the comments from the panel because she is Denise's friend. She was out of key and flat for at least half of her performance of "Hero". Ugh!

with the standard so high i think it was enivitable that amy would be in the bottom two though i expected it to be her and Tara not Francesca. I think that Ashleigh and tara will go in the next few weeks and I think Sarah should go too, she's good but I don't think she's right for nancy

Francesca completely deserves to be in the competition! I saw her in Rent, and she was absolutely brilliant, SO much better than Denise was in it. Generally they ruined Rent in their interpretation of it, and I came away thinking, "Wow, that was really rubbish, except the girl who played Joanne was AMAZING!" She got put in a rubbish show that didn't last, and she deserves a second chance, and that's what this is.

She has an amazing voice and she's a good actress. Give her some bloody credit!

Why shouldn'r Francesca be in the competition??? She's worked in the West End, so what?? She's trained hard at Drama School to get where she is, and deserved her place in the competition as much anybody else. I really like the mix of girls they have in te show, this time. You;re only as good as your last job in showbusiness, so of course, even professional, experienced performers are going to want national exposure like this.
