9 / 11 a cowardly attack, like that of Japanese in the 2nd World War. As then, into the heart of America. This time, perhaps not in the military, but in the economic and especially in the hearts of many innocent people.
I myself am German and at the time of the terrorist attack of 2001 13 years old.
At that time I could not understand what people did to such a move. Even years later, it is difficult for many and you live with the fear.
the thing i don't understand is that the majority of major powers governments have got to the point that when terrorists attack they wage war on the country of origin as if its that country's fault for example bin laden and Al-Qaeda on 11th of September 2001, so the usa go to war against the whole of Iraq and Afghanistan. asif their countries arnt already fucked up we just fuck them up even more, why?...For oil obviously. you might regard this point of view as stupid but its caused by greed
@lkj802 Sadly the people who attacked us on 9/11 were not from just one country, and with all due respect I would argue that Iraq and Afganistan are better off now.
We don't speak of 9/11 in my house because its my little brothers birthday. Instead we put on smiles. We don't listen to the radio or watch TV we play games and try to keep him happy

@drakebreakr don't be a dick. Seriously terrorists represent nobody but themselves. No-one wanted 9/11 to happen but a few undesirable extremist groups. We had no right to destroy the lives of thousands to find one group of men, and funnily enough, they were in fucking pakistan all along. RIP all the troops, airmen, special forces, and afghan and iraqi civilians lost to the phantom war.
@Xeldaric1991 listen bro, I see where you're coming from but the fact of the matter is, a huge reason that 9-11 occured was Al-Quieda got away with bombing the USS Cole with absolutely no repercusions, and that basically made bin Laden feel invincible, he thought he could do anything to us, think what the next step would've been if we had let 9-11 go unanswered? Becuase a targeted operation on something like Al-Quieda(especially at that time) would've been just as if not more risky, and slower...
@Xeldaric1991 ...because they had allies there, the Taliban was harboring them, they had to go, if we had taken the time for a long term precision operation, the US casualties would have been just as bad or worse, when it's our troops versus their citizens, to us, our soldiers take presidence, besides most of their cavilian casualties are caused by IED's, not our fault, (I apologize for the atrosious spelling)
I'm from Oklahoma and I never knew there were attacks here until last year in my American History class. I was 6 when 9/11 happened and didn't understand the concept of this war or what 9/11 truly was until this week. I've never felt more proud to be American.
I've been watching a documentary in Environmental Science all week about a group of fire fighters who were doing a normal fire when this bullshit happened. They got caught in it and were the only squad to not lose any men... Of the 2900 dead at the towers they lost no one.

think what have you done as what you have though about and what does it mean in you, god knows how innocent they were but terrorists are the one who is the one who have to be punishes
I have just one issue wih your video. You seem to be using this song as a patriotic type thing when in reality, this song is to both show support for the troops and also protest the war and the Bush regime. As a soldier, this song is touching for me but not in the way you portray it in the video. The point is that our soldiers were and still are to an extent, needlessly being killed for a terrible war.
currently in the special forces. thank you to all who made this song and actually care about us troops enough to do something as cool and giving like this.i personally say that the special forces team is the hardest thing to do in a persons life. but its people that made this song and not only made it but took the "time and effort" to make this song. i get shivers every time i hear this song and when im gone by three doors down. also dont go marines go air force then special forces
im only 13 and i want to serve America im 132 lbs 5'2 thumbs up if i should join the ranks of the brave and the proud and God forbid the ranks of the fallen thumbs up if i should join
@TheLordswitness1 Hey man do what your are called to do even if thats not what others think you should do. If serving America is what your are called to dot he
n do it with out looking back not one person can stand in your way if you stay strong and and do it with pride
@TheLordswitness1 Damn right you should bro. It'll be one of the hardest and best decisions you will ever make. I for one am already proud to know you're on your way in.
To judge any branch of the United States military by a common, not completely untrue stereotype is idiotic and nonsensical. Every branch of our military, Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, give so much for America. They not only will give their life, but they give you freedom.
Also, if you do want to join the Rangers, I'll tell you that it's a certain job in the Army. If you have any questions about, ask me. My best friend is an E-5 Sgt. in the US Army, and I'm a future Marine.
0:27 twin towers?? i missed them i rember that i didnt understand what was wrong whit theese towers (was a lilttle boy back then) but later i found it was terror
Ya gotta under stand that the quote " when the rich wage war it's the poor who die" it's true cuz all those fags don't give a damn to the "soldiers who brush the dust from their bulletproof vests away" every day if all of them could see what war does all war would end
@nolimits2424 as an unrelenting supporter of our troops (more like our heroes) and possible future serviceman in the RAF, hell yeah I did. Not just chills but almost paralysis. It's so true and so powerful and millions of people have heard it.
This isnt only about the actual war in iraq. it says it in the lyrics. "this war's just a different brand of war". they are talking about the distinct gap in wealth and prosperity between the rich and the poor. However it does have elements about the iraq war in it, granted.
song always makes me think about my own f'ing country, who the f*** will change my country?a foreigner????shut the f***** up,go to bed, you're talking about change......I love my country,I'll join army, yes I can do something,a young guy can inspire the youth of his nation by sacrificing his own life for his country.can you do it??????
Hey I'm from germany. I think it's stupid to say you can "kill" the terrorists...they don't have an official land or house like the "white house" were they come together so you can shoot them up. No you have to live with them and try to understand them..i know you americans have a history but don't always only look at you flag and say " yeah we have to kill everyone who are against us"..NO!....try to help and understand them...Not only the terorits done somenthing false. Think about it.
@heinrichskloper You can't change their ideas and you definitely can't change the way an entire nation thinks. They are helping the citizens by building houses and supplying food and mostly by getting rid of their dictating government. Sometimes war is the only option.
@ZerBior no because you can't win the war...if you'll do this, there will be more and more death americans and europeans...ok i think in germany we've other opinions than in the USA
people need to respect the pics not the song im tired people shit about whts hes done he couldnt prevent it it life realality u cant control the acutalalatiy of life life is on going track u can stop what happens
you people are pathetic. you argue over whose worse in the presidents seat but have any of you guys sat there? have you guys felt the pressure of the entire country on your shoulders? probably not so leave them alone and listen to the song for what its for. remember the troops. remember 9/11 never forget THAT. forget about this bush vs obama crap
CONTINUED: get over it. Bush/Obama Could only do so much to keep gas prices down. Obama is even drilling 3x the amount bush was and gas is still rising. not much the US can do about the price of something we have imported to us.

I have just one issue wih your video. You seem to be using this song as a patriotic type thing when in reality, this song is to both show support for the troops and also protest the war and the Bush regime. As a soldier, this song is touching for me but not in the way you portray it in the video. The point is that our soldiers were and still are to an extent, needlessly being killed for a terrible war.
soldierboypete 6 months ago
currently in the special forces. thank you to all who made this song and actually care about us troops enough to do something as cool and giving like this.i personally say that the special forces team is the hardest thing to do in a persons life. but its people that made this song and not only made it but took the "time and effort" to make this song. i get shivers every time i hear this song and when im gone by three doors down. also dont go marines go air force then special forces

Ya gotta under stand that the quote " when the rich wage war it's the poor who die" it's true cuz all those fags don't give a damn to the "soldiers who brush the dust from their bulletproof vests away" every day if all of them could see what war does all war would end

This isnt only about the actual war in iraq. it says it in the lyrics. "this war's just a different brand of war". they are talking about the distinct gap in wealth and prosperity between the rich and the poor. However it does have elements about the iraq war in it, granted.
bbccontentkeeper 8 months ago
this Punkrock1807 sure is a real dumbass
xXsiLeNtXkILLzXx 8 months ago
in fact i think, if an issue cannot be solved by using weapons, you ought to give fighting up and start talking.
I don't think anyone here really listened to this song. "when the rich wage war its the poor who die".
It's not about Americans and Afghans, not about religion, its about economical matters.
This song is more meant to be a protest song against any kind of war, not a war memorial song.
When you say its your war you haven't understood anything.
Punkrock1807 8 months ago 2
song always makes me think about my own f'ing country, who the f*** will change my country?a foreigner????shut the f***** up,go to bed, you're talking about change......I love my country,I'll join army, yes I can do something,a young guy can inspire the youth of his nation by sacrificing his own life for his country.can you do it??????

Hey I'm from germany. I think it's stupid to say you can "kill" the terrorists...they don't have an official land or house like the "white house" were they come together so you can shoot them up. No you have to live with them and try to understand them..i know you americans have a history but don't always only look at you flag and say " yeah we have to kill everyone who are against us"..NO!....try to help and understand them...Not only the terorits done somenthing false. Think about it.
germany.
heinrichskloper 9 months ago
@heinrichskloper Why should they try to understand and even help the terrorists? They think America is the devil...
ZerBior 8 months ago
@ZerBior help them to know it better..try to help the people in their lands, you killed often....yeah because the americans fighted in iraq...
heinrichskloper 8 months ago
@heinrichskloper You can't change their ideas and you definitely can't change the way an entire nation thinks. They are helping the citizens by building houses and supplying food and mostly by getting rid of their dictating government. Sometimes war is the only option.
ZerBior 8 months ago
@ZerBior no because you can't win the war...if you'll do this, there will be more and more death americans and europeans...ok i think in germany we've other opinions than in the USA
