Cuisinart Thermal Automatic Coffeemaker

this coffee maker would be perfect if not for the carafe leaking along the lid when you pour the last couple cups out. Also the poorly designed grounds lid has been replaced 3 times on mine and is in need of a 4th. The rubber gaskets keep wearing out they are too thin of rubber for the movements in that area of the coffee maker.

There is a new model with a totally new designed grounds lid. I bought mine in 2007.

Love it, BUT I hate thermal carafe's. Is there a model that does not use the Carafe?

The thermal carafe was a major engineering faux-pas. It does not pour correctly when you have reached the one or two cup level in the carafe.
