I was at this concert. Here's what I experienced: The sound wasn't perfect, but the sound quality of this video makes it sound 1000x worse. And besides, even with less than perfect sound, EVH still sounds great no matter what. Am I right?
Oh it was definately better than nothing at all. I am just defending EVH and his sound. They are my favorite band of all time. Even if the sound was 1000x worse than it currently is, it would still be better than nothing.
Sucks for any of you guys that went to that show. I just went to the show in OKC last Tuesday and the sound was good. They probably played better because they just got of a 3 week break. Also Eddie's solo was freakin' 16 minutes long and I recored the whole thing along with the rest of the concert.
I would love to be Eddie's tech, and believe me, everything would be just perfect. It would be badass to play his rig in soundcheck, how do you fuk up that gig?
yeah i was there also. and the pre show performance was reallllly crappy. not musically but like sound wise lots a screeches. but overall great except eddie rushes faster than all crap here.
This was my first Van Halen concert, but I was not disappointed! If anyone gets the chance to go to one of these GO! They're so fucking awesome! This show as far as I could hear was flawless. Wolfgang Van Halen did an awesome job on the bass. Even though the other three are old as hell now(Lmao) They still kicked ass!
lesson other shows like cleveland , charlotte , toronto chicgo he play like god !!!this si more tchnical problems -monitor amp or suite pedal , not forget this si not electronicmusic this si r&roll
I remember seeing the classic Van Halen back in the early 80's and those shows were a bit sloppy as well. I thought the show was fine other than Dave not talking to the audience. I heard he was sick. My advise to all: enjoy Van Halen as much as possible. It could be worse, Sammy could still be in the band.

I know sound quality sucks,all I had was a cel phone at this show.I still thought it was better than nothing at all.

i saw that show. it was an excellent solo, it included like 3 songs. but he kept getting feedback.

I was at KC and thought the solo was weak....but the songs rocked. I'm glad to see them with Roth after 4x with Hagar.

Anyone who was there think his solo was odd? Cathedral part was barely audible, think there was technical problems. Overall, show sucked. Sorry, Ed
