Two years ago I had a bunch of buckwheat covercrop seeds that I did nothing with so I threw them around the edge of my parents house and what I thought was the buckwheat is actually this stuff, visually, and tastes like this stuff.... just one flower stalk though so I didn't eat it and my lips feel peppery. I was wondering the other day why the flowers looked like that=) you think it could have hybridized with it or something?? Or did this stuff just outcompete the buckwheat?

Haha well yea, I'm sure they would compete w/ the buckwheat since they are wild but they also could have become hybrid strains as well..! :)
