I agree with a previous comment. Pet Shop Boys has not received the CREDIT THEY REALLY DESERVE...great duo, great music, serious musicians. All their music is very rich, do not have the same "pum pum" of the techno music. What they did is real music. The piano and the violins in this song are simply beautiful.

I've got the video of Discography (I'm showing my age there!) and it is faster than the original album version from Behaviour. It does work better being a little slower, but either way it's a (it's a, it's a..) classic song and one of the most brilliantly written pieces of pop music I know!
