wouldn't be easier if one can use a sledge hammer to pound the tire to soften the edges??? we do it here (in our country)...

Cool tool...but, I preffer a bead breaker sledge hammer

works, there are better breakers on the market, but pricey. some of the old bead breakers have a half inch socket so you can use a 1/2 in gun to power them. You could convert this one to use a air for power.

I've used a bumper jack to break beads way back when.... Lift the car right off the ground! Then jump on it!
