kara was done first time by our guild well i reckonend he was pretty easy but we had a t6/swp gear druid tank so i figure that'll help but then again we had a lvl 69 and 70 healer who sucked ass :P

I remember when me and my guild were doing him about 2 months ago and he was glitched, so whenever we hit Phase2 whenever he enfeebled during that time he would enfeeble 4 of our players including our MT and we were like WTF! and contacted a GM but this was at 1 in the morning so that didnt help =P Nightzatcher-Balance of judgement-Darkmoon faire

What my guild normaly does for this fight, is we tank him at about casting distance from the door (the infernals rarley pose much of a problem in this position). Prior to Phase 2 we'll slow DPS him to preserve mana, and depending on how good our healing is, have the healers take turns to heal the MT. At the start of phase 2, we then start to properly burn him. Normaly, even if an infernal drops between the ranged and the tank, we can still heal the melee or get around the infernals with ease.

Turns out he cannot be tanked by a full PvP druid tank, we found that out the hard way. As soon as he hit phase 2 he just slaughtered him, so for our 3rd try I took over in my warrior and we killed him easy.

There's more to it than that even. A druid only has 2 forms of damage mitigation (dodge, and armor) while warriors have 4 forms of mitigation. (dodge, parry, block, and armor) Warriors are often better at avoiding damage while druids simply absorb greater deals of it.

we dont know, none of that matter at all if you dont have good defence rating, you need to be uncritabel at least, show what your defence rating is then ask.

Stats similar to mine, and tbh, thats too much xD as long as ur uncrittable, (490+ def) with Hit rating capped, Your good to go.

Of course you have to have some kind of skill on top of that, not for these fights, but in general.

This boss is purely luck, a couple of weeks ago we tried to take him out, and we quite simply had our tank get crushed. We try again this time with our mage being afk before he gets pulled, we get lucky with our tank not getting 5 crushing blows at once and we downed him with 9 people.

I main tanked Prince many times, I tried one time in all 70 Dungeon blues and Suneater+ Sha'tar rep shield and epic bracers. Thats it. I did with ym stats being 17222hp RAID BUFFED WITH EVERYTHING. Dodge 17.89% Parry 16.56% Block 21.22% My armor was only 14512. He hit me for 900 a hit, up to 1600. Total pussy. But, I got stuck on two infernals. And I was dead. When Im in my T4/T5 gear. I have around 23k hpo 24% dodge 20% parry 31% block, 17k armor =P

Unless of course you know where to stand where the ranged group doesn't get hit, and the tank doesn't get hit. Though the melee is kinda screwed, but that's what bows, guns, and throwing weapons are for anyway

phase 2 (60%) he dual wield axes and does crazy damage.. should bloodlust at this point for quicker heals.. and MT should pop shield wall @ 45% to help healers

The hellfire only hits for bout 6-800 in addition to his normal attacks. We run Kara with only 2 healers and they have nps keeping me up through both. So yea I guess if your MT sucks, u can have the whole group get hit rather than just him.

You forgot to mention when Phase 3 begins, he doesn't cast Enfeeble anymore, so if you ARE getting boxed in, it would actually be much better to have people eat the AOE knockback then have the MT tank him through a Hellfire from an Infernal.

Minor Update= If the tank goes immediatly left outside the door and tanks him along the middle of that wall, you have much more room to manuever around the infernals. Since we began tanking him there we have 1-shotted him everytime.
