Well, if it really was -31F, that is fairly cold. But I usually just go out in a hoodie until about -25C unless there's wind. I like the cold.

But ya, it does get quite cold in winnipeg.

Are you sure the thermometer is farenheit? It only goes up to +50, which isn't all that warm, and would make that thermometer rather useless. And the radio says -25, which is obviously Celcius, being a local broadcast. I suppose it's just nit-picking. -31F is like -35C. and -31c is like -28F. Either way you look at it, it is cold. Atthat exact moment of the year I was 50 KM's south of the nunavut border, near Tadoule. It was -40c or less on some mornings.
