You are I'm sure you are. I did my flying scholarship not so long back and had to, but that might be because I had to do the scholarship. Yeah I landed on my very first one too. Amazing stuff for half an hour, and on your second one, you do aerobatics!

AEF's are only allowed to do 30mins

but if they were doing a Flying Scholarship you could be up there for 2 hours.

does that include taci , take off and landing time or is it actually 30mins in the air?

it is from engine start to engine shutdown, you normally get at RAF Benson about 20-25 minutes in the air the AEF base is not far from the main runway, which is where I have always taken off from.
