  • Her songs do not have to be messed with they sound beautiful just the way she intended!

  • WOW!! I am so amazed at how wonderful this song is. This is the first time I've heard it and I'm stunned. Stevie looks so good in the nice big head shots, then in in live footage and other pictures of her. She is just breathtaking and this is another one of your masterpieces!! Excellent video!! LOVE it Wench!!! Great song!!! Thank you so much!!!

  • @98michellesanders ~ Thanks!! The "finished" song is on In Your Dreams. Its awesome!!

  • nicks totally fails to understand even the first thing about poe and his aesthetic. i doubt she has even read poe, and am completely certain she is incapable of appreciating his work. in its own way, this song is as nightmarish in its bland platitudes as the darkest dreams of poe's imagination.

  • I TOTALLY LOVE THIS WOMAN !!!!!!! NOONE AND I MEAN NOONE WILL EVER SING LIKE STEVIE !!!!! GOD BLESS HER SOUL..SHE HAS THE MOST AMAZING VOICE AND AFTER ALL THESE YEARS SHE SOUNDS THE SAME!!!! WOULD LOVE TO HAVE POSSESSION OF JUST ONE OF HER DRESSES ... THE SEXIEST DRESSED WOMAN EVER IN MUSIC!!!!!! NO ONE WILL EVER BVE LIKE HER!!!! I LOVE U STEVIE !!!! AND NO IM NOT GAY LOL

  • i would give anything to lie beside Stevie

  • @Clairexxoo ~ its been so long i cant remember! im sure from one of my Stevie groups I belong to. It is a great song (demo and her finished version too!)

  • What beautiful and haunting song....

  • Original poem refers to seraphs which are angelic beings of an order higher than angels, semi-divine servants of the Most High. In the world of this poem there is a spectrum of beings, from demons below the sea, to the lovers, to the highborn kinsmen of the dead maiden, to the seraphs who envy the beauty of the lovers and their love. But, tellingly, there is no God.

  • @lebarosky ~ Thanks! Sad God was left out. He is my fav :)

  • @R3GANMACN3IL i love ALL of stevie's songs. so i guess i can say that my heart is quite crowded!

  • I cannot listen to her sing the coda at the end without tears forming in my eyes, and if I let them, streaming down my cheeks. And I have not lost a bride. So ethereally beautiful.

  • @lebarosky you are so completely right

  • Thanks for posting this.

  • @punditsliga ~YW Glad you like this song!

  • Woow..the song on the album managed to stay true to this. So glad... Is it Mick Fleetwood playing drums on the album version?

  • I heard that every angle in heaven has the same voice as her......She is so wonderful, I love to get lost in her voice.

  • Sarah Jarosz sang a version of this at MerleFest this past weekend....I think it's on her new album but not sure....this version is great as well!

  • My favorite song on the new album!! I can't stop listening to it. The poem is amazingly gorgeous and with Stevie's interpretation, well, it's just magical and moving in my opinion. She's amazing and my favorite artist of all time. Her music and voice moves me in ways no one else can. The chorus and the ending to this song on the new album gives me chills and is so beautiful.

  • Pretty much all Stevie Nicks' songs grow on you. She is the gypsy in every person's heart. <3

  • @Flowerbombalicious stevie had my heart at Rhianna. love that song live!

  • Thank you, not only for this posting, but more importantly, for the CORRECT spelling of the poet's name: in every mention of Stevie"s upcoming album and its inclusion of this phenomenal poem, yours is the first to spell Edgar Allan Poe's name correctly~and for this respect of one of Americas finest writers, I thank you

  • @4lilychanel ~ Thanks for commenting! Glad I got it right :)

  • thank you for posting this~

AND thank you for spelling the poets name CORRECTLY

In everything I have read of Stevie's upcoming album which suggests the release of this song, yours is the first mention in which Edgar Allan Poe's name is spelled correctly~it is nice to see someone finally get it right!

  • @ goreous... have you heard the whole recording? If so. Share!

  • out of all the unrecorded amazing demos stevie has in her arsenal i would hope she would have picked a better one to put on her new cd. but i'm still on PINS AND NEEDLES until the release. i wish she would just do a BASEMENT TAPES type release and give us clean demos to buy!
