Really need to subtitle what you did in your showreel, you will get into trouble from others if you don't because they will think you are trying to take credit. This industry you definately don't want to be pissing off your co-workers.

I see your point but I worked on these shots and i need a showreel that demonstartes my work so i am not doing anything wrong. I am only allowed to put 'finals' on my showreel i.e. no work in progress wireframes etc. If I had included shots that I did not work on or was claiming I had done the animation for example, then that would be totally wrong. I agree it would be cool to have subtitles in the video though so I'll try to get that done. Thanks for your comment and sorry for the confusion!

Hi Guys thanks for the questions! On this reel most of the work i am responsible for is camera tracking and 3d roto animation. I set up maya scenes with 3d cameras and object/character matchmoves ready for animators and lighters to work on. On a couple of the hitchhikers shots I animated a fishing line and the laser beam from the ring. Kevin Modeste animated the crab if I recall correctly. I'm working at Weta digital now doing layout for Avatar.

Very impressive but it would be nice to know WHAT you've done on those final shots.

Maybe you were the roto artist on all that... what would be less impressive. ; )
