This router will get around 140 mbps with security turned off. Turn security on however and forget it, it only reaches 25 to 30 mbps. Also if you connect a USB drive you will only get 18 to 25 mbps, connecting the same drive directly to my computer and I get 250 mbps. The processing power of the unit is not good enough to deliver anywhere near a decent performance with security on and the supplied storage manager software is very very slow. I am returning mine.
i have this and it works great. i have my laptop, 2 desktop pc and a xbox 360 hooked up at same time and works perfect. Brilliant router for xbox live. NO lag. Strongly recomend. Great unboxing.
I have this router, I get awesome speed on PS3 no lagging period. Have not had connection drops at all. It does disconnect but it's my PC because it was doing it before I got this router. My PC keep changing it,s IP address, I hate that $h!t.
i have the Belkin N wireless Modem Router and it works greats, i can have the the ps3 playing online, my pc, macbook, and 2 phones and a n ipod touch all hooked up to it at the same time and it work perfectly. i strongly recommend this.
The instructions suck to this thing lol. I just bought it today at Best Buy. And the instructions are just ummm confusing. It dosent really make sense to me. Can you help me.
You can first try double checking that all cables are plugged in correctly. You can also unplug both the router and modem from the outlet and wait 1minute. Then plug them both back in starting with the modem. If this works let me know if not I can continue to try and assist you.
its complete shit if you ask me. my itouch gets 120,000 pings when im 10ft from router

Sure it might be better though if you call Belkin support. They can walk you step by step to set up your router.

In general yes, but going from a g-speed router to this n-speed I did not see the performance increase I thought I would see.

i had one of these and it didnt work...i had two mates in to look and they both said its crap....i now got a netgear and it works stat!

When I upgraded from a linksys b/g speed router I did not see much of a performance increase. The increase was so little that I returned the product.
