Hey there, just wanted to give you guys a heads up on my opinion, I don't understand how the Hebrew God saying you should honor your mother and father means God is evil.
The Bible IS the way to Spiritual Truth. I believe just ABOUT exactly what you do, but I am Christian and I have read nearly the whole Bible 12-13 years ago.
I guarantee you if you go back through the Bible with the mentality that God is the Ultimate 1 true God, and he is also a Spirit inside of you, and everything Scientific also attests to this, take 10 years (maybe quicker for you guys) and mull it over, or experience it 1st hand, heal people, heal cancer, make tumors shrink,
get visions from the Creator of someone who needs your help, drive there, show up, and give them what they need (exactly what the Spirit of the Lord inside the heart of you told you to prep) you will come to the conclusion that it is all true, and it all complements each other beautifully, and specifically. At that point you will probably have a craving to read the Bible again, and it all comes alive in a way you've never known understanding could.
And life is positive. Guilt is gone, you make choices naturally and even with difficulty, but you naturally improve, your life improves, your influence grows, you prosper. And then another level of blessing is reached because you have been affirmed everything in the Bible is true, and you are a living example of that. Now at this point God will use you to reach others and show them the Truth, and the Word lives on, yet what you receive by giving that truth to others, is greater.
Christ gave us the Paraclete so he could dwell in us and us in him. Catholics think the Eucharist is the blood of Jesus and body of Jesus when it is the blood and body of Christ. They do not understand the metaphysics of the spiritual Aeon.
Father, Logos, Sophia. God is a universal term. The Church stole all the Gnostic Trinitarian definitions and made emanations into some stupid polytheism.
@adomjask the video was referring to the nag hammadi :) so I was giving another reccomendation. You may have taken some things out of context though to suit your own point of view. I agree though there are those who sit upon authority in the wrong way but teachers like Jesus Buddha Krishna etc I feel had a lot of authority to to teach. There is a lot to demystify in the Nag hamadi and potential to go deeper then archons/aons/pleromas but allow the teachings to speak to the heart and unite people
@adomjask interesting, I think though if you look deeper something like out-of-body experiences are timeless and there are even mention of visions and angels visting people while they were sleeping in the bible. Don't cut yourself out too quickly just because some new agers have created their own culture and went astray. Personally, Belzebuub's teachings have been priceless to me, I have met him, and read his books, and they have been full of wisdom, but I won't convince you otherwise.

Have you heard of astral projection and out-of-body experiences? Modern gnosticsism touches a lot on direct experience to what we cannot feel with the five senses, astral travel is an amazing way to find out what is beyond the ''masks'' without the theories. A good book is 'When I go to Sleep' or 'A Course in Astral Travel and Dreams' by Belzebuub.
@jonesboi18 I do not know which sect of Gnosticism you refer to. The most ancient form of Christian Gnosticism believed Father,Son, and Holy Spirit. The mother you refer to is the Holy Spirit.

i have been a gnostic 4 7yrs and i hate to put tags on things but iam and i love being a gnostic and following its teaching because it has brought me so much closer to god.gnostic teaching is all about u and god one on one spirituality no middle person like the church.gospel of phillip sayes -jesus said watch out for beautiful building on the outside because on the inside they are wicked and dont follow my father.i can see why the church fathers dont like the gnostics.look up in bible--jude1.14

Message me if you, or anyone else with an open mind and a belief in the gift of prophecy, want a fuller explanation of God, creation, and what it means to be in the image of God. BayAreaLen, surely you mean you admire gnostics, not agnostics? The two are quite different. The word 'gnosis' means with knowledge, and the word 'agnostic' means without knowledge. An agnostic is someone who doesn't know if there is a God or not; or from the point of view of a gnostic or people of most of the eastern religions, it is someone who doesn't know if he/she has a soul. I can't imagine why anyone would aspire to be in this state of confusion.
Very informative, I don't know that I've heard it explained much simpler than that before. However, I am an atheist, I don't feel the need to organize or sell anything. I suspect that modern atheism organizes because they are a minority in a massive christian America. I've always admired agnostics the most though. Trying to get there myself, but I'm too damn stubborn. Oh and, loved "dude with a beard!"

BayAreaLen, surely you mean you admire gnostics, not agnostics? The two are quite different. The word 'gnosis' means with knowledge, and the word 'agnostic' means without knowledge. An agnostic is someone who doesn't know if there is a God or not; or from the point of view of a gnostic or people of most of the eastern religions, it is someone who doesn't know if he/she has a soul. I can't imagine why anyone would aspire to be in this state of confusion.

Very informative, I don't know that I've heard it explained much simpler than that before. However, I am an atheist, I don't feel the need to organize or sell anything. I suspect that modern atheism organizes because they are a minority in a massive christian America. I've always admired agnostics the most though. Trying to get there myself, but I'm too damn stubborn. Oh and, loved "dude with a beard!"
