Back of the MDX looks like the Audi Q series but the front is a disaster. Looks like a parrots beak. Pity cos the MDX has a really good AWD system, better than the BMW and Audi as of 2011.

I have a MDX and it looks so much better it is better with rough terrain and has very good technology and performance and Acura's have much longer lasting engines

guys i have the 2011 acura mdx elite and the 2011 x5m! they are both great cars but heres the stats x5m MUCH MORE POWER!! MDX has very luxury interior but from the experience i have had from both cars i have to say the x5m is by far much better! the acura is good for everyday use but the x5 looks better is expensiver and so on

@superflykid21 yeah, X5 M with 550 HP, but use the 4.8 v8, Acura will still win the comparison in all manners. Tech, power, specs, etc

@marcelodelagoXD that is true.. but 5.0 v8 will still beat the mdx.. i now have the porsche cayenne turbo and the x5m and i would have to say the new porsche is AMAZING, its got speed, looks, technology, luxury.. what more could u want?

@superflykid21 Yeah ma friend, I know. Here in Mexico the X5M, X6M do about 580HP in the Dynos. But Im talking about the "normal" X5 with the V8. Acura still wins with its V6

i think BMW makes the ugliest cars, the only good looking car they have now are the 3 series croup and convertible, not the sedan, the back light design mess up the whole car.

i have the 2002 mdx and when it was time to replace it i got a x5 2010 over the mdx

reasons: the sound the x5 makes is jaw dropping, and it handles better in my opinion it fells like it grips to the road much better. but i kept the old mdx for sentamental reasons

As much as I love those bimmers, the MDX looks a lot sharper and in style. Like someone else had mentioned, the x5 looks old and dated. Both beautiful cars tho!!

both are excellent cars, top of the line luxury/comfort, technology, and performance. The BMW probably has slightly better handling, but the technology and features in the MDX are superior. Cannot go wrong with either. (I may take the MDX over the Bimmer if I had to choose).
