I'm a cosmetologist, and letting you guys know, if you follow this video on how to do your hair, teasing it doesn't hurt your hair whatsoever. If you do it right, that is. Don't put too much pressure into the comb when you tease, and that too. Use a teasing comb. It makes the space between the hair finer so you can brush it out later a lot easier.

I'm done ranting now. Bleh.
