I wish they would remake CoD4 with MW3 level graphics, no last stand, Frag x2 instead of x3, Gamewinning killcams and dedicated servers, but keep everything else exactly the same. Plus they could import the best maps from other CoD's like Firing Range, Terminal, etc.

To be honest the players that abuse perks, guns, death streaks, and glitches are what ruin this game. If you really seperated all the shit players from the rest the game would be better but still MW3 really is shit and needs massive improvements.

I have more fun playing COD4 and MW2 than I do with MW3. Maybe because I'm more relaxed and I'm not concerned about K/D whatsoever as I am with MW3. I'm not going to sit here and act like I don't care about K/D when I truthfully do. I only care about K/D for the newest COD though. For COD4, WAW, MW2, Black Ops, I could give a fuck less about my K/D.

Helpful advice: play Mercenary TDM on COD4. That is ALL I play on COD4 since every other game type (lobby) is hacked to hell and back. I don't know if you're on XBOX or PS3, but I'm on PS3 and I RARELY find any hackers in Mercenary TDM. Try that and maybe you'll have better luck.

Y'know, many commentators talk about the 'gun on gun' that was in COD4. So, why not play the Barebones playlist in BLOPS or MW3? No silly killstreaks, no deathstreaks, and no specialist crap. Sure, a player has more trouble wtfpwningnubs, and can't use the crutches to boost his score. Or are most people just avoiding a more level playing field?

@XReignSupremeX COD4 and WAW are my favorites. Everybody just went out and shot each other up. When it came to the weapons they were balance and prestige wasn't a harsh thing on players.

When you prestige in the recent games you have to earn so many attachments and do challenges for your perks. You can't even unlock everything before you reach prestige lvl.

What is worse is we're playing the same game with basically an engine update every year. COD games don't need to be release yearly now.

XReignSupremeX you said it perfectly the removal of stopping power ruined MW3. Now it takes forever to kill someone even when lag compensation isn't a factor. Also you have everyone running assassin and camping for killstreaks. I really do miss the simplicity of COD4, I wish IW would go back to that.

People want the formula to change. I still have no idea what people want CoD to change into if they aren't looking for: see a guy, ADS/follow, and open fire. Ridiculous Perks, Kill/Pointstreaks...

I kinda miss Stopping Power, but it was too much of a hassle to run Hardline, Sleight of Hand, or Overkill and do good. Didn't help that I used a P90 or the PPSh-41.

I'm also wondering right now, where did the excessive amount of Spy Plane/UAV users come from? The wasn't all that much in WAW, or MW2.

Stealth has edged in on the Call of Duty series as a viable option because Infinity Ward and Treyarch have made it possible, with Perks like Cold Blooded, Ghost, Blind Eye and Assassin. If they nerfed the effect back to the effectiveness UAV jammer and made the perks have more serious drawbacks, then people will move away from using them and people that don't will be able to count on using the weaknesses of those perks. (Like with the Stopping Power/UAV Jammer relationship.)

CoD4 is the best because it has the best maps (and vibe or feel to them), the best sound engine, it's mostly fair gun vs gun action, the killstreaks don't take you away from the game for an extended period of time (like care packages or AC-130's), the killstreaks are not random you know what to expect, much less equipment just the basics, no motion sensors or any of that gay shit. I can list 50 reasons easily, but those are the main ones.
