i have been playing in A# D# G# C# F A# on a six string for the past 3 years out of a decade of playing guitar, it is a whole different beast tuning way the fuck down on a six string, i dont like seven string guitars, and they dont standard tune the way a six string does, standard B on a 7 string is

ow, now you hit a hot button with me, i have been using Floyd's for 8 years now, if you know which strings go with which tuning you dont even have to adjust your springs from factory setting, i turned both screws down 1 1/2 turns down because i tune down a half a step from what is standard with 14-60's strings, thats nothing, and i have never worn out a bridge since i have played in this tuning, MAINTENANCE, put a dab of Vaseline on your knife edges every six months, it will never be a problem.

I do play guitar and what you say is totally wrong. Besides with standard E you can't play classical music, the bass notes are usually way lower than a bass guitar in E-standard.
