@ShoopDaWoosh well, most the characters have something protecting there hands, except Sally, Rotor, though heres my theory, Rotor being the Mech of the group, which is an urban blacksmith, and as Will from Pirates of the Carribien stated that "there blacksmith hand's, rough.. so Rotor would be used to it." Sally, being a tom boy, won't complain, Antoine......was the only one that complained.

@BroadcastFlims They mentioned de-robotisizing in one episode, and in the case of replacing flesh I don't think reversing the effects would be possible.

I think it's just covering the body with robotic parts and stimulating amnesia with a drug or something.
