  • Aluminum and Glass? My PC is made out of plastic and steel...

  • @MrMariohead123 The point of it being aluminum is that it's much more environmentally friendly than plastic and steel. Apple only purchases aluminum from companies in Africa that have healthy conditions for it's miners, unlike other PC companies that use almost slave labor to mine for your steel, as well as using oil to manufacture that plastic, which is horrible for the Earth.

  • RIP SJ

  • I personally don't like Macs and I think people who buy them are misled and don't know they are getting ripped off. Also most people who use macs are cradled and are not exposed to all the tech behind a computer.

But the 2 top rated comments are just absurd. Apple currently holds the most stable SSD firmware on the market, and the motherboard in the mac pro allows for 2 cpus instead of one. The only pc motherboards that do that are server ones.

  • 2 people own a PC..

  • @hsm4life09 I know right. How could you hate a mac

  • who knew one of the most famous computer making companies would be a fruit?

  • I highly think none of us will charge it a thousand times... Unless your addicted like justice... :)

  • o dislikes..........i guessed that.....

  • who cares they wanna make it last long because its not removable. laptop batteries cost like 50$ for hp

  • This laptop is getting ready for an update. Last things left to update on apple line

    macbook pro and iPod classic.

  • most pc netbooks cant even last that long.

  • wow i like your product i love mac. mac is great/best operating systerm in the word

  • but they dont thel that lithium olemer is extreemley explosive

  • @81minuten so is lithium ion. Whats your point?

  • whats up with the screen thats waaaay too long for the base lol

  • @fredfredburger2626 it a 17 inch screen @_@ its for the weirdos out there that want a portable computer so freakin huge its not really portable anymore

  • @Alex13N some ppl use it as their main home computer that has the option to be carried around when needed. its a smaller market.

  • wait, its not widescreen? or is is just the video???

  • @iDemetrii just the video, its the regular 17 inch screen ratio

  • What happens when you reach that 1000th charge? 0.o

  • @Windows8fanman the capacity decreases. As the lithium polymer wears out, but you can easily get it replaced and its not really that expensive. The computer will still get around 2-3 hours of charge for a long time.. you will have plenty of time to replace the battery before it turns useless (1 hour or less)

  • i thirst for a laptop like this sometimes

  • i HATE when the screen looks too big and it looks like when you put it down, it overlays.

  • WOW! How do they come up with these ideas?

  • Apple is synonymous with innovation and the Macbook Pro is a great gadget! Students in India have the opportunity of grabbing the best offers. Call the toll free number 1800-425-4646.

  • you sound like the promo guy....

  • For the battery basically have it plugged in when you're not on the move(or can't take to a certain class...) 1000 charges is about right and I'd probably be jumping on the next macbook pro or just get the latest iMac.

  • well what happens after it been charged 1,000 time ??

  • it starts to have less performance like instead of 8 hours you'll get 6 or 7 hours.

  • then you need a new one

  • yeah what happens when it's pen charged 1000 times does the computer die or something

  • the battery life-time will last the 80% of the original time (that means it'll last 6.4 hours) and then its life-time will get less and less BUT don't worry, remember you can replace it battery at an apple retail sotre for $179 (and yes, its battery will last AGAIN the EIGHT HOURS :D )

  • IT EXPLODES :O

  • @simsisgr8 u need to buy a new battery, or u just keep it plugged into the wall lol

  • @simsisgr8

You can still run with the charger connected, but you just have to get the battery replaced or do it yourself :p

  • @simsisgr8 doesn't last as long; maybe an hour or two, BUT you can get it replaced by Apple or you can just go buy one from Apple (online or at a real store) and do it yourself (probably cheaper unless its under warranty; but then again the battery lasts for for 1000 recharges, which on average lasts 5 years, and the warranty only lasts for a year unless you get it extended)

  • @simsisgr8 u get a new battery

  • @simsisgr8 you get a new battery dumbass

  • @simsisgr8

after 1.000 charges battery looser 10% of its capacity

  • @simsisgr8 it breaks aka buy a new battery

  • @simsisgr8 the battery can still be recharged but a full charge wont be as long...

  • @simsisgr8 it starts degrading, and battery life gets worse and worse, they guarantee that this wont happen noticably for 1000 charges, which is pretty good and better than most other laptops out there

  • @simsisgr8 the battery wont work

you will always need to have it connected to power

  • @hjalteyhjalte55555 no, that's not what they mean. They mean that after those 1000 times it will lose power and will not hold as much charge as it used to.

  • @simsisgr8 maybe the best way is to change your battery!?

  • @simsisgr8 It holds slightly less energy.

  • @simsisgr8 Well that 1,000 time recharges lasts 5 years, as they said, so I think this technology will be outdated by then and another version of the MacBook Pro will be available for your purchase.

  • @simsisgr8 "it can be fully charged 1000 times", that means, that after 1000 times of charging, the battery will lose capacity, and will last shorter.

  • im glad this wuz about the battery, i didnt know if i should choose between a macbook or a macbook pro just because of if i can remove the battery. now i know which ones better

  • I like this bc apple jus told every other major computer company how to get a logner battery

  • hahahahahahahhahaha!!!!

  • hahahaahahaha your right.

  • wat the hell is wrong with this video the macbook duznt even look widescreen the macbook looks weird

  • thats dumb apple is the best computer in the universe

  • so right, except just so freaking expensive

  • @povertyinny don't they have student discounts?

  • @povertyinny but you get what you pay for!

  • @povertyinny compare to similarly configured windows pc and you will find it's priced right. number 2, u are paying for a higher quality machine and better service, and u will keep it longer, and u will be able to sell it at a higher price, i can go on forever, it's a better value when u actually break it down

  • @rcwatkins5 No. the Tianhe-1 is the best computer in the universe :P look it up.
