I love that MBV's music can leave things up to the listener. It really requires an imagination. I bought a reverse reverb pedal and I love playing along to Loveless and Isn't Anything. Of course it doesn't sound anywhere near as lush as MBV but if you turn up your head phones and play along it sounds like your really contributing and almost making a new song.

everyone flips their shit for seemingly every song on the album except this one, and it's always been my favorite. maybe that's why, it's like a little lost child in the middle of loveless. not saying it doesn't belong, but it seems so different from the rest. it's barely even really a song, more of just a display of thousands of feelings at once. this track never gets old.

it took over 4 months to record, and i know what you mean. this is my favorite track on the album and to me is the epitome of what they created. the layers of shimmer are so deep, it's seriously intoxicating. hearing this song live high off my ass was one of the most memorable experiences of my life that i hardly remember. peace and love bro.

I've been waiting to evry day every single year to see the bar reset for not just this sound but all music of the eraly 90's late 80's/underground/indie era. Fact that keeps hitting me though is this sound era and even the type of young musicians perspectives on society and music itself... has changed... and obviously for the worse. funny that you mention this because upon listening to Loveless the first time around I merely looked past To Here Knows When. But with subsequent listens I fell in love with this song, and to be honest I think it's the centerpiece of this album. While it may not be a fan favorite of sorts, this song is very representative of what MBV is, sonically and emotionally. I think this and 'sometimes' are the best songs on the album
