People who don't do this sort of thing just don't know how much stamina it takes. You do a nice job spinning the staff. I like that its a relatively short staff. I think if you incorporated some strikes and blocks in with your routine it would be even cooler. Cheers and keep up the good work.

Flow could be better. Not bad though. I use an actual Bo, which is 6' long, compared to the shortened length you are using which for now I cannot remember for the life of me, I think it's a Jo but not sure. I use alot of the spins and techniques you were using in my practices. Out of curiosity, what kind of staff are you using? Mine is White Oak and very heavy to spin, but very sturdy. Yours appears to be hardwood as well, which is why I am curious :) Thank you, and good work.

@Samuel032593 I also practise with a 6ft bo which is solid red oak. I don't know if its just me but its rather heavy and hard to get speed up with it. I'm very tempted to make myself a glowing led staff which would be lighter but i'm not sure if lighter would be good for the momentum. As for the video i think its really good but would be better if more shoulder and neck spins could be involved and prehaps a move used in fire staffing called the conveyor belt. It would just add to your techniques

I know you're just messing around but IMHO, you should clean up your basic spins, make sure you stay in planes unless you're actually planning on switching planes, and develop some more specific tricks.

Awesome! I made a 4ft staff out of a dowel I bought at Home Depot, and taped sparklers on the end of it for 4th of July at Rothbury, and spun during Umphrey's 1st set. It was exhilerating! Screw hoopers! we got STAFFS!
