  • This will prove extremely useful against all those Falco Chaingrabs!

  • this isn't exactly a chain grab, its more of a grab release, the reason bowser can do this is that he has ten frames less in his grab release animations, which makes him able to grab every character except donkey kong, who also has the same animation frames.

  • @killerpenguin360 trust me I know the data since I'm the one that discovered the chain grab. lol. A chain grab is when you can link one grab into another grab so this is a chain grab.

  • i can do it a bit, though it requires precise timing.

  • does his chain grab works on zelda??? D:

  • @IceBeam95 every character except donkey kong and both ice climbers

  • Just for reference's sake, I'm fairly certain Grab releases are not effected by DI, hence Yoshi's grab release chain grabs. Although... I could be wrong, especially since this is a land grab release chain grab.

  • problem with that is he uairs and he misses Bowser as Bowser grabs him, so that doesn't work. What does work(not guaranteed though) is up B.

  • that is correct

  • hey this is exdia u may not know me but i know u and u might know ralp the wario player at the twins house but anyway do u have a friend code i would like to play u .

  • what's the name of this song?!

  • oops sorry, I didn't see the description til after I posted the comment

  • bowser the shredder

  • Damn, reminds me of Hypethug's Bowser. THEE Koopa KING.

  • lies gimpy for life

  • lol dude why is grab release so good in brawl...

wario sucks because of grab release now... sigh

  • I loled when snake when snake pulled out his box and falco got mined XD

  • I didn't. That Snake was a newb. He should have gotten closer, turned around then pulled out his box, that way the box would hit Falco at the end of the taunt. pro tip

  • Did you check various directions of DI for the ariel release grab?

I'm just wondering, because as you probably know, marth no longer has his infinite against the mother kids because it turns out we were DI'ing the wrong way the whole time <_<

Bowser being able to CG scares me.

  • You can't DI an Aerial Grab release. You go a set distance no matter what DI input you make

  • but you can DI a Ground Grab release? That doesn't make sense.

  • But it is real =)

  • Very interesting video; I never knew Bowser had so many grab release options. Thanks for making this.

  • neat

  • Can you Boozercide out of this?

  • Yeah, watch the original video to see.

  • wow, even though there seem to be attack counters to bowser chain grab then end was a good idea for other chars

  • Very nice video however i beleive meta can escape the grab. when bowser lets go of him. the U-B may not only infact damage bowser but escape his grab.

Plz reply if this will work

  • Nah, Bowser CAN regrab MK in the air

  • Awesome video 5/5

  • nevermind, shoulda waited for the last few seconds of the video

  • what if when they arialy break they DI toward bowser?

  • sorry...DI stands for?...

  • dirrectional influence

  • Directional Influence

  • lol i love the last one. great vid. favorited it.

  • bowser the shredder... nice, helpful video too.

  • Can Bowser just CG to the edge and then combo into Klawcide?

  • Also, when you do a running regrab, is that a shield grab or an actual running grab?

  • ... One more question. Have you tried a dashing pivot grab to switch the direction so that you can still infinite even on jump escape?

  • You are right about this being hard. In my experience Ive done it to a Samus, a Ganon, and a Link (I forgot some of the others).

Ive been doing this on Wifi for quite a While, and I get about 3-4 consecutive chaingrabs sometimes.

I think Im getting used to doing the Boozer Chaingrab on Wifi, and thank you GodismyRock89 for finding this out, for it has helped me a lot in battle ^^

BTW Nice song. It's called "Bowser the Shredder" if Im not mistaken.

  • Thx, and yeah it is really hard. If you don't have fast reaction timing it's nearly Impossible.

Oh, and you can download the song if you press more on my info.

    Have a good one

  • about the metaknight part, I wonder if he is able to do his up-b after a jump break...

  • More important is song.

  • So more characters than yoshi can do this...interesting

  • So yoshi can do this...interesting

  • Yo, how do you jump break out of grabs?

  • You can only jump out to tap buttons as possible but if the person is attacking you while at the grab, you can jump out of it. That's why some people can make choke chain grabs out of it...

  • Wait, if the grabber is attacking, I meant you can't jump out of it, you escape to the ground.

  • While it doesn't look like it can do much damage, this IS good for one major thing: Gaining ground after recovery.

In Brawl, this is an important thing. Give up ground, and you get camped, especially with Bowser. With this technique, you can force your opponent to the edge without risk.

  • nice find godismyrock

  • Agreed. - Ryzen Xia

  • I think they can get out by jumping instead of air dodging when they escape the grab o_o

  • Yeah, you can jump after you escape into the air. Try it against a running cpu in training.

  • when they break into the air try mashing jump instead of air dodge

  • What is the name of the song played in this video? It rocks!

  • Sounds like Clockwork from Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse.

  • But.. it's the last battle song from Super Mario 64. Ignore my other comment..

  • Wait, you can't attack or anything while you Jump Break from a grab? And what song was that?

  • I upadated the video's info with a link to download it.

  • nice
