This is basically a rendition of R & B group Blackstreets version of the Beatles classic. Wayne did it justice. I am a huge R & B fan so I prefer the slow version over the Beatles fast version.
I was expecting a big swing-jazz band upbeat rendition. But this... Well this is more of a "magical" rendition - the kind of song you'd hear in a romantic film. Wayne has changed the song completely to his style of music, and he's done it amazingly. <3
@ AFOH : maybe you're right..but wayne's version is way more sentimental...and trust me...i know what i say..:) ..so eveybody is free to listen what he wants :)
This version is not as catchy as the original one, for it lacks some of the notes and tones that made the Beatle's work a masterpiece of simplistic pop. This is pure cheesy, overacted R&B.
@AFOH I dunno, I prefer this one, if only for how smooth it is and for how it accentuates just how romantic (albeit, yes, pure pop) the lyrics are. I like both, though. The Beatles were and always will be the greatest band ever, but that doesn't mean that no cover of any of their songs can be better than the original.
Kinda Eric Bennet ish.

Wayne Brady is the only Wayne I'll listen 2. Totally underrated becasue of being a comedic actor and talk show host.

Soulful. From the original bubble-gum pop song, Wayne recreated it for and about grown ups.
