C'mon guys... I'm an atheist myself and i was from a Hindu family and we celebrate Christmas every year in India and it is still one of my favorite holidays. It's a celebration and fun, not about discrimination and yes my parents told me that it was the day when Jesus Christ was born and you grow up and find out it's not true like Santa Claus but do we stop celebrating because of that? i enjoy this celebration of a myth & being with my family & giving & receiving presents.(mostly receiving) :)
@SonofSivadas Many Christians and non Christians believe Christmas was the birth of Jesus, but the truth is. It is not. Nobody knows when Jesus was born. All the customs in Christmas come from pagan traditions. But were stolen by Christian ministers. Jesus was never in Christmas. Nowhere is it mentioned in the Bible and all the stuff to do with Christmas really dont seem to have anything to do with religion. That is why true Christians do not celebrate Christmas.
