Cool video, loved this video. I'm always amazed how many super-old bridges remain in southern Louisiana that are always at least 50-70 years old, and as what you can see at 2:20. Not to mention, the additions you can see on the left and right side for a 2nd lane in both directions, which were also done on some of the South Louisiana MS River bridges Freewayjim drove over on a vid.
Which song did you use here? There unfortunately isn't a song credit for this song on the description.
Is this just me, or did it seem like everything got nicer as you got further into New Orleans? Chatmette doesn't seem quite as nice. Also, liked the railroad tracks @ 1:40. Nice video Bryant!
As you entered the downtown portion of New Orleans, could the constant shaking of your camera be related to the awful road conditions? Usually in the downtown core of a city the streets are well maintained and smooth or they are at least half-decent. A lot of street lights and the infrastructure around that bridge over the channel (the street platform rises, doesn't it?) are really showing their age! There is a lot of cold, hard, heavy industry there near the refineries and storage facilities.

@prfsnlwannabe
Thanks!
2:20 - I saw the bridge on Google Maps, and couldn't figure it out. Did some research and the railroad went through there at one time.
The song's an AudioSwap.

Great job indeed! Thanks for bringing me down memory lane as NOLA is my original home city. Did you attend the Jazzfest?

@Derham43
Thanks, man. I didn't get a chance to go to Jazzfest. Just went to Harrah*s and drove through the French Quarter, up N. Peters to I-10.

Interesting ride, loved the old bridge at 2:20. The chaotic sound of the song sure matched the footage, good choise.

2:20 - That's a very cool bridge. The first that I've seen like it that breaks up the lanes like that.
Thanks.

Too vibration ; ... Maybe, an unstable roadway ...
Very nice looking city... Thanks for the tour..

The roads are bit bumpy indeed, especially on the alleys towards the end of the video.

@Bryant5493 : Okay, Bryant ... Thanks for the reply.

@FreewayTitan
Yeah, indeed. A lot more the area closer to Chalmette -- the Lower 9th Ward -- was damaged by Hurricane Katrina, IIRC.
1:40 - Yeah, a very interesting look. I don't think that those tracks are used any longer.
Thanks, Max.
