Cattle sell in a narrow range at these auctions. It is not hard to tell the difference between an old cow at $45 (a hundred) and a small calf at $1.45 (a pound) when you are there and know a little about what you are buying. The bids then increment, when you buy you pay attention to what you bid and whether it was topped.

If you aren't buying and don't understand the patter... DON'T SCRATCH YOUR HEAD. :)

he's got "some" rythym but he aint clear enough at all . the fillers are one thing but the bidders have to be able to hear the numbers . clarity is important . It doesn't usually take me long at all to get my ear adjusted to an auctioneer but I can't tell what he's saying so if I was there , it is simple , I WOULD NOT BID .

its all just a rythm they keep and continuous talking. IE 22 and hal would ya bid half hal 2 and half would ya bid 2 and a half now would ya bid a 3 3 hundred dollar now 3 would ya bid a 3 now 3 no3 woul ya go 4 4 now 4 hundred dallar 24 hundred do ya wana buy it 24 now 5 woul ya go five bid now 5 bid to buy it now 5 25 hundred dollar now 5 would bid a 5. its just done at a constant rythm
